Angry Birds Halloween is a puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that was released on October 21, 2010. The game is a sequel to the original Angry Birds game which boasts to being the number one paid application in over a hundred countries, including the United States and Great Britain. http://www.rovio.com/index.php?page=angry-birds The series relies on taking a variety of differently manageable and armed birds and firing them at different angles via a slingshot. The primary objective of the game is to destroy the evil green heads of pigs by directly assaulting them or destroying the structures around them.

The Halloween version of Angry Birds has nearly everything in common with its predecessor, except for a few minor aesthetic differences. The first difference is that instead of the classic nature background, blue skies with fluffy clouds and grassy fields, Angry Birds Halloween employs the use of more ghoulish set pieces such as full moons, gnarled trees and flickering candles. Another change is that the music in this version of the game has more gothic and ominous tones to match the macabre settings. Finally, items such as jack-o-lanterns have been added onto the playing area for additional points if struck.

Angry Birds Halloween has 3 Worlds with 15 levels in each, giving the game a grand total of 45 different levels. You are ranked from one to three stars in each level depending on how many birds it takes to obtain victory.

Birds

1. Red Bird: Fly normally with no special powers.
2. Yellow Birds: Possess a sudden and direct burst of speed after being launched.
3. Blue Birds: Split into three smaller birds to cover more area.
4. White Birds: Drop eggs straight down for precision strikes.
5. Black Birds: Possess the power to explode in mid-air or shortly after landing.
6. Green Birds: Boomerangs back towards you.

Points and Obstacles

Every piece of the structures holding the pigs is worth points if destroyed. The thicker the board or stone block, the more times it needs to be struck or with greater momentum in general. There are also sometimes items balanced on top of the structure, in this case pumpkins and lanterns, which are worth points but can also be used to set a domino effect in motion if your bird alone doesn't do the job. You will also receive 10000 points for every bird you don't use per level.

TNT boxes effect everything in a short distance around them when they are stuck and explode.

Rocks or structures on wheels will roll in a certain direction depending on what angle you strike them at.

Enemies will also sometimes be wearing helmets, which will need to be struck repeatedly or with something very large, before you can destroy the whole pig.

Hints and Tips

1. If your initial shot does not go as planned, take notice of the dotted line left behind from it's flight and adjust your trajectory.
2. Aim for the bottom of tall and slender structures to make them topple more effectively with less effort.
3. Aim for TNT boxes first if you are unsure as to how to proceed. They are always there for a reason.
4. If a target is blocked or surrounded by walls or other obstacles, try firing straight up into the air.

• Arm Slingshot: Touch the bird in play and slide your finger to the left, without lifting it up.

• Aim: Slide your finger up or down.

• Launch Bird: Remove your finger from screen.

• Activate Special Ability: Touch the screen while bird is in flight.

1. Aim for the lantern on the left to strike the bottom leg nearest to you.
2. Aim for the wall behind the most elevated enemy to bounce back to the left and cause a domino effect.
3. Aim for the left incline on the second level of the structure and split the birds just before impact. Then, aim for the top of the pyramid made of tiny ice blocks and split the birds immediately after launch.
4. Aim for the thin ice block propped on the wooden incline on the left and split the bird before impact. Then, aim for the most elevated cement block and split the birds before impact.
5. Aim just above the wooden incline on the left and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the enemy on the bottom right of the structure and boost just before impact.

1. Aim straight into the air to come down on the large enemy at the base of the structure and boost before impact. Then, repeat the same action.
2. Aim for the enemy wearing the helmet. Then, aim for the very bottom of the left side of the structure.
3. Aim for the cluster of pumpkins. Then, aim for the the small enemy on the second level of the structure to the far left.
4. Aim for the cluster of pumpkins at the far end of the area and drop the egg just before impact. Then aim for the large enemy balanced on the triangular block and drop the egg on the stack of three wooden planks. Then, aim for the second story of the tall structure with the lantern on top of it and drop the egg before impact.
5. Aim straight up to land just left of the concrete block on the left triangular structure. Then, aim for where the two triangular structures meet in the middle and drop the egg on that point. Then, aim just above the two vertically placed concrete blocks and boost just before impact.

1. Aim for the upper rectangular wooden block on the far left side of the first structure.
2. Aim for the thin horizontal concrete block on the structure furthest to the left. Then aim for the medium-sized enemy at the base of the cliff at the far side of the area.
3. Aim for the moon then boomerang when you're lined up with the triangular block at the top of the structure to hit the uppermost concrete block. Then, aim for the moon and boomerang into the rectangular concrete blocks near the base of the structure. Then, aim for the moon and boomerang into the two small enemies at the lower part of the structure.
4. Aim for the thin horizontal wooden board between the two large enemies near the bottom left side of the structure and boost before impact. Then, aim for the area above the tree branch boomerang into the very bottom of the structure on the right side. Then, aim for the first of the three small wooden blocks and boost before impact.
5. Aim for the concrete block on the far right side of the structure and boomerang just before impact to hit the thin wooden board propped against the structure on the left. Then, aim for the two ice blocks on top of the second small enemy at the base of the structure and split the bird over the first small enemy. Then, aim for the second small enemy at the base of the structure and boost before impact. Then, aim vertically to land on the small enemy and split the bird just before passing the tree branch.

1. Aim for the left lantern. Then, aim for the vertical rectangular block on the left side of the structure.
2. Aim for the thin horizontal concrete board near the bottom at the left side of the structure. Then, aim for the large enemy in the back corner and boost just before impact.
3. Aim for the highest medium-seized enemy on the left side of the structure. Then, aim for the thin vertical concrete board above the top medium-sized enemy. Then, aim for the horizontal concrete block on top of the medium-sized enemy.
4. Aim for the center of the structure and drop the egg between the two concrete inclines. Then, aim for the enemy with the helmet at the center of the structure.
5. Aim for the middle vertical wooden board on the left side of the structure and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the thin vertical concrete board and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the middle small enemy on the left side of the structure and boost before impact.

1. Aim for the thin wooden plank propped against the structure above the pumpkin and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the two vertical wooden blocks on the left side of the structure and boost just before impact. Then aim for the large green enemy and drop the egg just before impact.
2. Aim for the wooden incline on the left side of the structure and split the birds just as you reach the top branch on the right side of the tree. Then, aim for the wooden incline on the left side of the structure and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the large enemy on the left.
3. Aim for the center of the structure and drop the egg between the two inclines. Then, aim vertically to land on the medium-sized enemy on the right in the center of the structure. Then, aim for the tallest tower on the left side to strike just below the incline. Then, aim for the medium-sized enemy.
4. Aim for the long vertical wooden plank on the left side. Then, aim for the medium-sized enemy at the uppermost part of the structure.
5. Aim vertically to land in V-shaped section of the right side of the structure. Then, aim slightly above the lantern on the left side of the structure. Then, aim vertically to land to land above the medium-sized enemy.

1. Aim for the pumpkin at the top of the structure and split the bird just before impact. Then, aim just above the pumpkin on the second story on the left side of the structure and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the pumpkin on the left side of the structure and boost before impact. Then, aim vertically to land on the medium-sized enemy and boost downward just before impact.
2. Aim for the center of the column on top of the base of the structure and drop an egg just before impact on the cement incline. Then, aim for the bottom half of the same column and drop the egg just before impact. Aim for the bottom half of the same column and boost before impact. Then, aim for the medium-sized enemy on the far left and drop the egg on the incline at the base. Then, aim above the enemy and drop the egg on the center cement block.
3. Aim for the thin vertical cement board at the base of the left side of the structure. Then, aim vertically to land on the medium-sized enemy at the base of the long wooden incline. Then, aim towards the tree branch at the far side of the area and boomerang into the middle of the long wooden incline.
4. Aim for the uppermost vertical cement block on the left side of the structure and drop the egg towards the medium-sized enemy below. Then, aim vertically to land just above the wooden incline above the helmeted enemy and into the medium sized enemy on the right side of the structure and boost just before impact. Then, aim vertically and boost at the apex of the trajectory to land on the cement incline.
5. Aim for the thin vertical wooden board just below the uppermost lantern on the left side of the structure. Then, aim just above the medium-sized enemy on the far left and boost before impact. Then aim for the wooden board propped up on the left side of the structure. Then, aim vertically and boost at the apex of the trajectory to land on the large enemy.

1. Aim for the rightmost wooden triangle. Then, aim for the uppermost medium-sized enemy. Then, aim for the moon and boomerang at the center of it to hit the bottom row of pumpkins.
2. Aim for the rock. Then, aim for the small enemy and split the bird just before impact.
3. Aim for the enemy encased in the pumpkin on the leftmost side of the structure. Then, aim for the enemy encased in the pumpkin.
4. Aim for the enemy in the driver's seat of the truck and split the birds halfway to the target so that you hit the incline made of ice as well. Then, aim for the pumpkin patch to clear off the section of wooden boards above the enemies. Then, aim for the medium-sized enemy.
5. Aim just above the leftmost medium-sized enemy and boost before impact. Then, aim vertically to land on the large enemy at the center of the structure and boost just before impact. Then, aim vertically to land on the two medium-sized enemies at the base of the structure, taking out the floor beneath them as well.

1. Aim vertically and split the birds when you sail near the right side of the structure's peak. Then, aim for the wooden plank propped up on the left side of the structure. Then, aim for the left side of the tower and split the birds just before impact.
2. Aim vertically to land on the second to the left enemy lined along the left side of the structure and boost before impact. Then, aim vertically to land on the enemy to the right. Then aim for the remainin enemy.
3. Aim for the stack of ice blocks on the left side of the structure and split the birds just before impact. Then, aim for the left side of the structure and split the birds as soon as you pass over the black rock formation. Then, repeat the previous action.
4. Aim vertically to land on the peak between the two cement blocks and boost before the impact. Then, aim for the same place and drop an egg just before impact. Then, aim for the enemy incased in a pumpkin and drop the egg just before impact. Then, aim above the medium sized enemy and drop the egg directly on him.
5. Aim vertically to sail above the middle of the structure and boost just above the line of enemies in the right part of the structure. Aim for the enemy in the top of the structure's left side tower side. Then aim vertically to land on the enemies on the right side of the structure. Then, aim vertically to land on base of the right side of the structure and boost before impact. Then, aim for the base of the left tower.

1. Aim for the horizontal cement block on the left side of the structure and boost before impact. Aim for the thin cement plank propped up on the left side of the structure and drop the egg on the cement incline. Then, aim for the vertical wooden blocks at the base on the left side of the structure and boost just before impact.
2. Aim for the lantern and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the pumpkin and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the thin wooden plank at the base of the structure on the left side. Then, aim for the highest vertical thin wooden plank and drop the egg just before impact. Then aim between the two remaining enemies.
3. Aim for the thin wooden planck propped up in front of the wooden incline on the left side of the structure. Then, aim vertically to land on that same wooden incline and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the enemy in the middle of the line-up along the rightmost rock formation. Then, aim vertically to land on the helmeted enemy and boost just before impact.
4. Aim vertically to land just left of the lower of the cement blocks and boost just before impact. Then, aim for the remaining large enemy on the ground and split the birds just before impact.
5. Aim for the bottom left side of the uppermost cement block on the uppermost rock formation and boost before impact. Then, aim for the ghost with the lantern and boost before impact. Then, aim for the medium-sized enemy at the center of the structure's base and boost before impact. Then aim above the remaining enemy and drop the egg on him.
