Angie Zapata was a transgendered woman, born as a male. Zapata, age 18, was beaten to death in July of 2008, by Allen Andrade, who became infuriated upon learning Zapata was biologically a male. Andrade allegedly beat Zapata with a fire extinguisher in her Greeley, Colorado home.
