Angels Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox face the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 2008 American League Division Series.

The Red Sox are the defending 2007 World Series champions. In 2004, and 2007, the Red Sox swept the Angels on their way to championships in Major League Baseball.

In 2008, the Angels won eight of nine regular season games against the Red Sox.

The Angels last won the World Series in 2002.

In the 2008 ALDS, the Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Angels in four games. The Red Sox won the first two games in Anaheim, lost game 3 in extra innings, then won game four with a walk off single by Jed Lowrie.
