Angels in Waiting had been caring for Nadya Suleman's children since March 17, 2009, when the first of the octuplets were released from the hospital. On March 23, 2009, Radaronline reported that Suleman decided to discontinue the services of the non-profit charity organization. Angels in Waiting had offered to provide continuous care for the octuplets as well as for Suleman's six other children, for a fee. Suleman has said she will hire her own nannies. Members of Angels in Waiting are scheduled to tape an episode of Dr. Phil on March 24, 2009. Hoping to refute any negative statements the nursing organization may make, Suleman has expressed interest in also appearing on the show.Radaronline: Octo-Mom Fires Angels In Waiting (March 23, 2009)

- During the March 14, 2009 taping of Dr. Phil, it was announced that Angels in Waiting would be helping Suleman. Phil McGraw commented, "Nadya realized that she had to make every effort to care for the octuplets as well as the six children at home, in a way that proved that she understood the enormity and complexity of the task ahead. The plan in place, which could not have happened without attorney Gloria Allred and Angels in Waiting, affords all of the Suleman children a chance to grow and thrive. The childcare will be completely transparent, so that Kaiser Permanente and Child Protective Services will see that Nadya is seriously committed to her family."Us Magazine: Octo Mom Fires Nursing Staff (March 23, 2009)
