Pastors Joe, and Linda Wingo started giving out food from their back porch in 1994, to help the Monroe Georgia, families affected by the industrial plant shut down. The first time they did this they were able to feed thirty four families in the neighborhood. When word got out of this, other churches volunteered their time and money to help. Over the next few years they began feeding hundreds of families in the southeast.

Today Angel Food feeds 500,000 plus families in one month over thirty five states across America. The way it works, is you will pay thirty dollars, and receive a medium size box full of nutritious food. They change food items given out each month, but always gives you a variety of fresh, and frozen food items that would normally cost sixty dollars. All items are are new, items you would find at a grocery store, no out of date items or damaged items. You also have the option of a specialty box, which normally consists of chicken, pork, and steak. There is no limit to how many boxes one family may purchase, and there is no qualifications, or applications to fill out. This page will direct you to some of the coupons available for this group.
