Suleman Explains
Angela Suleman was quoted in The Los Angeles Times as saying that her daughter had embryos implanted last year, and doctors later gave her the option of selective reduction, which she refused. Suleman said: "What do you suggest she should have done? She refused to have them killed." According to Suleman, the octuplets' grandfather plans to return to Iraq "to help support the expanded family."
