Angel Sanchez is a Venezuelan-born fashion designer who got his start in the industry designing women's evening wear. His major break came in 1999 with the debut of his bridal line.
The Designer
Angel Sanchez was born and raised in Venezuela and grew up watching his mother as she created beautiful gowns made of luxurious fabrics. Her talents inspired Sanchez, who has been captivated by fashion ever since.Sanchez worked as an architect for 2 years until he returned to fashion in 1987. Sanchez quickly gained notoriety throughout Latin America, and soon became internationally known. In 1997 with his new found world wide recognition, the company expanded and established its headquarters in New York City.
Sanchez debuted his bridal collection in 1999, and received incredible reviews by both buyers and the press, marking him as a successful international designer.
The Look
Sanchez pays attention to a woman's curves, with mature form fitting pieces, and bold colors and patterns. Sanchez lines are sophisticated and classy with skirts usually hitting at the knee or right below.Where to Find
