The plane crashed into a grocery store parking lot at about 10:15 a.m. local time. Angel Flight Northeast is an organization that coordinates free flights for non-emergency medical purposes by connecting Americans in need of medical care with volunteer pilots. The couple was on the way to Boston so the man could receive treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
