  • Andy Reid is the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League. In his first season as head coach in 1999, the Eagles went 5-11. However, in his second season, Reid lead the team to an 11-5 mark, and to date he has gone 86-55 with a 61% winning percentage.

    On November 24, 2008, Andy Reid defended the benching of Donovan McNabb during a 36-7 Eagles loss to the Baltimore Ravens.   • Brief Biography

    Making his head coaching debut in Philadelphia in January of 1999, Reid went on to take the Eagles to four NFC championship game appearances between the years of 2001 and 2004. Reid got his start as an NFL coach in Green Bay under Mike Holmgren. He spent seven years as an assistant for the Packers, and was the team's quarterbacks coach when they won Super Bowl XXXI in 1997.
