Andy Potts is a United States triathlete. Potts tried out for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Triathlon team for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, but he did not make the final cut.
Career
Andy Potts began his swimming career at the age of 15. After swimming for the University of Michigan, Potts retired from sports in 1999. When the triathlon debuted as an Olympic sport in 2000, Potts returned to training in 2002. Potts qualified and participated in the 2004 Olympics and won the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2007.
