Andy Griffith is an American actor, producer, writer and singer who played the title character in The Andy Griffith Show. His other notable roles are A Face in the Crowd and Matlock. Griffith began his career as a monologist and then transitioned to performing on Broadway before becoming a television and film actor.
Griffith's other acting credits include Onionhead, Gomer Pyle, Spy Hard, Waitress, Go Ask Alice, Frosty's Winter Wonderland, Roots: The Next Generations and Return to Mayberry. He can next be seen in Play the Game.
