Andy Greene is a professional hockey player defenseman for the New Jersey Devils. Andy Greene was born in Trenton, Michigan, on October 30, 1982. The 5-foot-11 Greene, who makes his off-season home in his hometown of Trenton, Michigan, was an education major in college and enjoys listening to country music. His first hockey memory was being awaken for Mites' practice by his father at five years old. Andy Greene played four years of college hockey in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) for the Miami University of Ohio Redhawks. In 159 games for the Redhawks, he posted 114 points on 27 goals and 87 assists, and logged 256 penalty minutes.
