College football player Andy Dalton serves as the quarterback for the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs football team in the NCAA. After redshirting as a true freshman with the Horned Frogs in 2006, Dalton made his debut with the team in 2007. Dalton had a stand-out season with the TCU Horned Frogs as a freshman in 2007, completing 222 of 371 passes for 2,459 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Horned Frogs went 7-5 on the season, plus won the Texas Bowl, of which Dalton was named the MVP. His 2008 season was as equally successful, completing 182 of 307 passes for 2,242 yards and 11 scores. While he missed two games in October, Dalton led the Horned Frogs to a 10-2 record and a win in the Poinsettia Bowl against the Boise State Broncos. Dalton and the TCU Horned Frogs showed no signs of slowing down in the 2009 season as they went undefeated during the regular season. Completing 199 of 323 passes for 2,756 yards and 23 touchdowns, Dalton received several honors for his play including Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year, All-American and All-Mountain West selections.
