Andrew Rosen is the grandchild of Arthur Rosen who was the founder of the Puritan Fashion Corporation. Andrew attended the University of Miami and took over the family business in 1983 following the death of his father Carl, becoming the president of Puritan Fashion Corporation.

Calvin Klein bought Puritan Fashionsin 1984 for one hundred million dollars. Andrew Rosen stayed on as the President of Calvin Klein until he left Calvin Klein to join Anne Klein as the president and COO. In 1997 with his business partner Elie Tahari, he launched a new women’s fashion label, which designed a collection under the name of Theory LLC. Together they concentrated the label in the direction of mix and match suit pieces and stretch type pants.

In 2000 he joined with the Japanese company called Link International to manufacture and distribute the brand using the Theory name. Link Holding then purchased the label in 2003 for one hundred two million dollars. http://cityfile.com/profiles/andrew-rosen

Rosen stayed with Link and now heads the US branch of the company. This allows him to oversee Theory as well as the Uniqlo and Helmut Lang brands.

Andrew Rosen left the University of Miami before graduating and was not very interested in pursuing his fathers career until his father called on him to take over his position in the family business due to being diagnosed with cancer. He married Adrian Mottola and they had two children named Ashley and Austin.

Andrew owns 15 thoroughbred race horses and has had one of his horses compete in the Kentucky Derby.

There was a law suit filed by Elie Tahari over the amount that he was paid before selling the company to Link Holding.

He has been assisting new fashion designers get a start in the fashion world. He has been assisting Stacey Bendet who creates the label Alice & Olivia.
