2010 Exit Interview
On June 22, 2010 the Los Angeles Lakers conducted an exit interview with Andrew Bynum. Some points were addressed including having a minor right knee surgery around July 18, 2010. During summer, he is planning to work on his core strength with Lakers Athletic Performance Coordinator, Alex McKechnie. He is also planning to work on footwork and finishing moves amongst other things. [1]

Pro Career
Bynum was selected with the 10th pick in the 2005 Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. At the age of 18 years old and 6 days, he became the youngest player ever to play in an NBA Game. He began the 2006 season as the starter, but struggled with consistency. In the beginning of the 2007-2008 season, he was off to an all-star caliber year when he dislocated his knee cap in a freak play. He was forced to miss the remainder of the season. In 2009, Bynum again suffered a knee injury, in which he tore his MCL in his right knee.NBA.com: [1]
On October 30, 2008, Bynum agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Lakers, reportedly for $58 million dollars. If the deal is finalized, Bynum will be under contract with the Lakers through the 2012 - 2013 season.ESPN.com: [2](October 30, 2008)
