    Andrew Bynum was born in Plainsboro, New Jersey, on October 27, 1987. He attended West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North and then Solebury School in Pennsylvania. He finished up his high school career at St. Joseph High School.NBA.com: Andrew Bynum Bio
  • Pro Career

    Bynum was selected with the 10th pick in the 2005 Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. At the age of 18 years old and 6 days, he became the youngest player ever to play in an NBA Game. He began the 2006 season as the starter, but struggled with consistency. In the beginning of the 2007-2008 season, he was off to an all-star caliber year when he dislocated his knee cap in a freak play. He was forced to miss the remainder of the season. In 2009, Bynum again suffered a knee injury, in which he tore his MCL in his right knee.NBA.com: [1]


    On October 30, 2008, Bynum agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Lakers, reportedly for $58 million dollars. If the deal is finalized, Bynum will be under contract with the Lakers through the 2012 - 2013 season.ESPN.com: [2](October 30, 2008)
