Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut is 7’0” center playing for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. Bogut was born in Melbourne, Australia and attended high school at the Australian Institute of Sport. Upon graduation Bogut committed to and played for the University of Utah. Putting together an impressive career, Bogut was selected with the first overrall pick by the Bucks in the 2005 NBA Draft.

Bogut was the consensus national player of the year for the 2004/05 season with the Utah Utes. He also became only the 11th player at Utah to make the Associated Press’s All-American team.

Bogut played for his native Australia in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. After going 3-2 in the preliminary round he helped Australia reach the quaterfinals of the Olympic games, where they eventually lost to Gold Medal winner Team USA.

Andrew Bogut 2010 Playoffs

Bogut's 2009/10 season ended when he had surgery on April 4th for an array of injuries he suffered the night before. He was unable to appear in any of the postseason games for the Milwaukee Bucks

Andrew Bogut 2009/10 Season

Bogut was well on his way to having his best overall season with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2009/10 before he suffered a season ending injury on April 3rd against the Phoenix Suns. It later turned out that in addition to his dislocated elbow Bogut suffered a sprained wrist and a broken hand. Andrew Bogut 2008/09 Season

The 2008/09 season was Andrew Bogut’s fourth year with the Milwaukee Bucks Bogut was coming off a season in which he averaged a then career high 14.3 points per game.

Bogut managed to appear in just 36 games, starting 33 of those.
