Andrea Jung is the CEO of Avon and member of the Apple board of directors. On January 7, 2008 the announcement was made that Jung was to join the Apple board. She has also served as Board of Director for General Electric since 1998. She was named one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal in 2001. She is the former wife of Michael Gould the CEO of Bloomingdale's Inc.
