Andre Young Jr, the 20 year old son of rapper and producer Dr. Dre, was found dead at his Woodland Hills, California home on August 23, 2008. Young died from an overdose of heroin and morphine.People: Dr. Dre's Son Died From Overdose of Heroin and Morphine (January 2, 2009)
Andre Young was found by his mother, Jenita Porter, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. She then called 911. Paramedics who arrived at the scene were unable to revive the boy.
