College Football Career
Goodman began his career playing college football with the South Carolina Gamecocks in the NCAA. He played all four seasons, recording 86 tackles and four interceptions at left cornerback and free safety. NFL Career
Goodman made his professional debut with the Detroit Lions in 2002, playing in 14 games and recording 46 tackles and one interception. He was limited to only three games in 2003 after he dislocated his shoulder. Goodman returned to the Lions in 2004 to record a career-best 47 tackles.
