On May 28, 2008, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper was photographed in the company of Sesame Street characters Elmo and Grover. Cooper and Elmo co-hosted the 6th Annual Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala in New York City.
Cooper has been a longtime supporter of Sesame Street, having appeared on the popular children's show in 2007. In 2006, Cooper interviewed Kermit the Frog on his show, Anderson Cooper 360.
