Amy Winehouse was originally scheduled to perform live at the 2008 Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, California on February 10, 2008.
Winehouse had been in a rehabilitation clinic since January 24, 2007 and it was unclear if she could travel to the U.S.. It had been reported that Winehouse met with UK officials to discuss obtaining a visa to leave England, but her application was rejected by U.S. officials.Billboard: Winehouse Won't Be At Grammy Awards (February 7, 2008)
