On July 28, 2008, singer Amy Winehouse was rushed to University College Hospital after suffering from a reaction to medication. According to a London Ambulance spokeswoman, a medical crew was called to the singer's address at 8:40pm and police were called to clear a path for the ambulance to get past photographers.
Winehouse spokesman Chris Goodman stated that, "Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital." According to reports, she will remain in the hospital overnight until further evaluation.BBC News: Singer Amy Winehouse in Hoospital (July 28, 2008)
