Amy Smart

Amy Smart is an actress and model. She is known for her starring roles in the hit comedy Road Trip with Tom Green and the action film Crank starring Jason Statham.

Smart was born in Topanga Canyon, California. Her mother Judy Carrington worked at the J. Paul Getty museum and her father John Smart was a salesperson. She also has a brother, Adam. She was the only girl on the Little League baseball team and known by locals as the shy tomboy.

She studied ballet for ten years and began to take acting classes when she was 16 years old. She got into modeling when her friend Vinessa Shaw suggested that Smart replace her in a photo shoot.

Smart is engaged to Branden Williams an actor and her long time friend of 13 years. She is also friends with actress and model Ali Larter. The two of them acted in Varsity Blues and have also modeled together.
