  • On May 28, 2008, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer announced that attorney Amy Schulman had been hired as general counsel.

    The 47-year-old Schulman was a partner at the DLA Piper law firm in New York City for many years. During that time, she represented Pfizer in its litigation involving the drugs Bextra and Celebrex.

    Schulman's client roster also included GE, Wyeth, Altria Group and Schering-Plough.
