  • Amy Ray is an American singer and guitarist who is part of the folk duo, the Indigo Girls. Since high school, Ray and co-Indigo Girl, Emily Saliers, have written music together and after signing with Epic Records, began releasing a number of hit songs in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
