• Amy Giordano was reported missing on June 8, 2007. Her remains were found and soon after identified in April of 2008.

• Rosario DiGirolamo

  Her former boyfriend, Rosario DiGirolamo was arrested on March 20, 2008, and charged with her murder. Her infant son, Michael, was abandoned in a hospital parking lot in Newark, Delaware, two days after she was last seen. DiGirolamo was married at the time of their relationship, although he had begun divorce proceedings.

• Remains Found

  On March 24, 2008, human bones were found in a suitcase in a Staten Island pond. On April 18, 2008, it was confirmed that the bones found were in fact the remains of Amy Giordano.
