• Amy Adams is an Academy Award-nominated actress who has built her career on playing perky, sweet heroines in a number of popular films. After her Academy Award-nominated breakout role in the independent film Junebug, Adams appeared in the movies Talladega Nights, Standing Still and the Golden Globe nominated Disney film Enchanted.

  Adams received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her work in the film Doubt, but the award went to Penelope Cruz for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She wore a floor length red Galliano gown to the awards ceremony.
