Based on the popular sport of snowboarding, Amped 2 was developed by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox console.

Gameplay
Players begin by choosing a mountain from the list of current unlocked places to snowboard. The player is then dropped at the top of the selected location. Players can jump slopes and ramps once they have gained sufficient momentum. While airborne, you may perform various trick combinations to increase your score. Some of the objects on the slopes will cause you to lose momentum, costing you points in lost combinations. The game also offers the option of playing music stored on your hard drive as you snowboard.
