Infosys software engineer Amit Budhiraja reportedly hung himself on Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Koramangala, India, after smothering his wife, Rinku Sachdev to death. The alleged murder-suicide came to light on Sunday when a close friend of Rinku's called repeatedly, but received no answer. A suicide note was found at the scene. It is reported that Budhiraja suspected his wife of having an affair, and that they had been arguing.
