Amisha Patel is a Bollywood actress who made her acting debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Rakesh Roshan's Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai .

Amisha Patel attended Tufts University in Massachussets for her college degree. She then went on to work at Morgan Stanley.

After returning to India she began to pursue a career in film and became an overnight hit when she appeared in 2000's Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai opposite Hrithik Roshan. Following that she was in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol, and the film was one of the biggest successes of Indian film history.

However, after the initial success, she had a number of films that did not do very well at the box office. She made her return to commercial triumph in 2007 with a supporting role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
