Season Five of the America's Got Talent show began on June 1, 2010 with a completely new set of talented (and some not so talented) entertainers who are auditioning for the show in Los Angeles, California.
NBC announced Kevin Skinner a country music singer was the winner for season four. As the winner Skinner took home $1 million dollars in prize money.
America's Got Talent show produced in combination with FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell's SYCO Television. The executive producers are Simon Cowell, Cecile Frot-Coutaz, Jason Raff, Ken Warwick and Georgie Hurford-Jones.
Howie Mandel joins the cast of judges for this season. He is a judge along with Sharon Obsourne and Piers Morgan. These three are the official judges for the show who judge the performances for the season that may include singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists.http://www.nbc.com/americas-got-talent/about//ref>
