America's Army: True Soldiers is a first person shooter video game. Players are absorbed into the experiences of modern soldiers. A new feature is the new self-shadowing method, which will focus more on multiplayers using the Xbox Live gaming service. Customization is available by selecting from a number of faces for your soldier or by creating clans to represent Army divisions.
Gameplay
Players are able to sprint, crouch, go prone, and sight down the gun, giving a realistic look through the soldiers' eyes. There are five classes on each squad, Rifleman, Grenadier, Sniper, Automatic Rifleman, and Squad Leader. Squad Leaders have the ability to talk to each other by radio. Each class has two unique weapons, one that is a default and another that is unlockable. If your soldier is wounded during the game, teammates may help to heal you or if you have a first aid kit you can try to heal yourself. In order to rank up, you must earn honor points by helping to heal teammates, dragging teammates from fires, sharing ammunition or sacrificing yourself.
