America Ferrera, of Ugly Betty fame, will executive produce and star in the dramatic film America Tragic. Written and directed by Ferrera's boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams, the movie is slated to open in theaters in the fall of 2009.

Home from war, a returning soldier (Ryan O'Nan) struggles to cope with his memories and ends up traveling the country with a friend, in search of deliverance from his demons.
