• American Idol Extra highlights the current seasons of the hit reality television singing competition American Idol. Billed as "the show that picks up right where American Idol leaves off," interviews of guest stars and eliminated contestants are featured along with spoilers and gossip with behind the scenes footage. The show airs on FOX Reality.

• The hosts

  In 2006 the American Idol Extra premiered with host Ty Treadway. The next season JD Roberto replaced Treadway and Mikalah Gordon and Matt Rogers, both former American Idol contestants, were added as co-hosts. The 2008 season led off with Roberto once again joining the cast, with Gina Glocksen and Constantine Maroulis as the new co-hosts.
