Shooting

On April 3, 2009, an Asian male was reportedly taking a citizenship test at the American Civic Association at 10:30 a.m. EST when the shooting began. As many as 41 people were in the building at the time of the shooting and were held hostage by the suspect. At 12:50 p.m. EST, several hostages were released, but others remained in the building.
