American Airlines Commercial Post 9/11
In this video commercial, American Airlines uses music and text that fades in and out on-screen to bring a post 9/11 message. Using phrases such as "The freedom to come and go anywhere, anytime, with confidence and peace of mind" and "We are an airline proud to bear the name American," made this a campaign that had the potential to capture the attention of a public feeling threatened. Background video is in the form of shots of the airplanes and various travelers and workers throughout the airport. It is one part of American's post 9/11 ad campaign.
