American I Am is a traveling museum. A free webcast was hosted on Tuesday, November, 2008 by Tavis Smiley. The webcast gave viewers a glimpse of the traveling museum that is scheduled to open in November 2008. The museum celebrates 400 years of influential African-American's through various forms of artifacts, documents, multimedia, photos and music.
