Amber Tamblyn is an American actress and poet. She started acting in 1995 in lesser known movies and appeared in the soap opera General Hospital in four episodes as Emily. Her big break came when she starred in the short lived series Joan of Arcadia playing the role of Joan Girardi, a girl that can talk to God. Her first major film role came in 2005 when she co starred in the movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She is also set to appear in the 2008 sequel, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
Other Work
Tamblyn also appears in the 2006 movie The Grudge 2 as Aubrey. She also appears in the movie Stephanie Daley which she plays a 16 year old girl that kills her baby minutes after it was born. Her role won her the Bronze Leapord at the Locarno International Film Festival. Tamblyn is also set to appear in the upcoming movies, Safety Glass, Spring Breakdown and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.
