Washington state woman Amber Malkuch disappeared while on a weekend cruise to Southeast Alaska. She was reported missing on August 3, 2009, and a body, believed to be Malkuch, was found by the U.S. Coast Guard later that day.
As of August 4, 2009, the identity of the body had not been confirmed. Investigators believe she may have fallen overboard from the cruise ship.
