The 14th season of The Amazing Race premiered on February 15, 2009. The host of the race around the world, Phil Keoghan, will guided 11 different teams with clues, roadblocks and many difficult choices in their quest to win the grand prize of $1 million. The most talked about contestants included the Hollywood screenwriter of School of Rock and a mother-son team where the son has been deaf since birth.E! * Margie Adams, clinical research associate, and Luke Adams, college graduate; Mother-son team Luke is deaf

* Tammy Jih and Victor Jih, lawyers; Siblings graduated from Stanford University and Harvard Law School, respectively
