Amazing Grace is a 2006 film starring Ioan Gruffudd, Romola Garai, and Michael Gambon. It was written by Steven Knight and directed by Michael Apted. The film brought in over $4 million at the box office during the weekend of February 23-25, 2006.

Amazing Grace is about William Wilberforce and his campaign against the slave trade in the 18th century Britain. The film starts of with Wilberforce injured and taking a holiday. He meets his future wife and begins to tell her his story of his life and how he got to where he was that day.
