Wide receiver Amani Toomer reportedly signed a one-year contract to play for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League on August 4, 2009.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story%3Fid%3D4376493

He previously played for the New York Giants, winning Super Bowl XLII with the team in 2008. His contract with the Giants expired in 2008 and was not renewed.
