On the afternoon of March 21, 2009, Terkel was accosted by Jesse Watters in Winchester, Virginia, where she was on vacation. The video tape made by O'Reilly's producer was aired on March 23, 2009. O'Reilly introduced the video calling Terkel a "villaiin".
