During her time in an Italian prison as a suspect in the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and after she was convicted of the murder, Amanda Knox has been keeping a detailed prison diary, portions of which have been leaked to the press.
Knox, who was an American student studying in Italy, was convicted of the murder of Kercher on December 5, 2009. She was sentenced to 26 years in prison for the crime along with her former boyfriend Rafaelle Sollecito.

After her conviction in December 2009, new entries about a prison guard that was allegedly making sexual advances on her were reportedly leaked to the press.
