Amalfi Coast Restaurants

The Amalfi Coast is a region in Italy. Some of the more popular towns which run along this stretch of coastline are Ravello, Atrani, Amalfi, Praiano and Positano. While the most popular cuisine on the coast is Seafood, there is also plenty of many other cuisines to sample.

Fine Dining

The La Caravella restaurant "is sitting very close to the famous, St. Mark's square (which is the center of the city). This restaurant overlooks one of the main streets in Venice, Italy, which is called the Via XXII Marzo is one of the most prominent restaurants in town," according to Frommer's.Frommer's: Frommer's This Italian restaurant started out only as a boatyard and marine warehouse. Now it serves several specialties like the spaghetti caravella with seafood sauce and fresh fish with lemon, or the scialatielli (wide noodles) with shellfish.

Moderate Dining

While dining at Chez Black, you can choose a fresh lobster from a huge aquarium on display in the dining room. This restaurant is located near the beach and is very popular with the locals. Some of the specialty dishes include the spaghetti with sea urchins and fried baby squid, or the spicy zuppa di pesce (fish soup). Also available are veal, liver, chicken, and beef dishes.
