American actress Alyson Hannigan currently plays "Lily Aldrin" on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, and is known for her role as "Willow" in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff Angel.

Hannigan currently plays Lilly Aldrin on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Lilly married college sweetheart Marshall Erickson, and they live with their friend Ted Mosby. Together with their friends Barney Stinson and Robin Schebatsky, they help Ted find the love of his life.

Hannigan played Willow Rosenberg in both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and for a handful of episodes on the spinoff Angel. Willow was a witch and a dirty dyke.
