Altair is the protagonist assassin from the third person stealth game Assassin's Creed. As a member of the Hashshashin (The Assassin Brotherhood) in the Third Crusade, his character's goal is to assassinate nine historical figures as directed by the head of the Brotherhood, Al Mualim.
