Alpha Protocol Walkthrough

Introduction

This page contains a full text and video walkthrough for the video game Alpha Protocol, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by SEGA. The game was released on June 1, 2010, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles, as well as for PC.

Alpha Protocol follows young super-spy Michael Thorton in his quest to thwart an international disaster of earth-shaking proportions. Abandoned by his own government, and forced to move in the shadowy world of international espionage, Thorton must somehow single-handedly uncover the conspiracy, hunt down those behind it, and recover his reputation and status as an elite agent. A prime target of the most powerful criminal organizations on the planet, Thorton has nothing to rely on but his training, his guile, and his razor-sharp instincts, honed over years of life-or-death subterfuge.

When players assume control of Michael Thorton, they do much more than just point and shoot. There is ample opportunity for decision-making and strategy throughout the game, and the choices Thorton makes will have their consequences in shaping his own destiny, and the safety and security of the entire world. Customization extends far beyond physical appearance: players can choose their preferred style of play, and approach missions accordingly. Stealth may get the job done, but all-out run-and-gun assault may do equally well--provided the player has invested Thorton with the stats to back up his chosen strategy. Interaction with the various shady characters who populate the game is equally open-ended. Decisions and remarks made during conversations may unlock the key to accomplishing Thorton's goals, or create new obstacles in his path.

No spy thriller would be complete without an array of futuristic weapons and gadgets, and Alpha Protocol is no exception. Through Thorton's black-market contacts, players can upgrade and modify weapons based on Thorton's needs, adding a silencer to a gun or increasing its damage, depending on the player's overall play-style. And Thorton will have reason to find and use plenty of technological marvels before his mission is done.

Three Months Ago

  1. In the hospital room, move over to the counter, and press A to pick up the PDA. Enter your first conversation, and get a feel for the dynamics of interacting with other characters.
  2. After talking to Mina, look for the fire extinguisher on the wall. Use it to smash through the glass, and go into the next room.
  3. Fight the guard when he shows up. Use B to perform melee attacks. When the guard has been subdued, keep moving, in the direction indicated by the yellow marker on your screen.
  4. When you reach the alarm panel, press A to begin disarming it. Move the cursor across the row of points on the bottom of the panel, until you come to the beginning point for the first circuit. Press A to clip the circuit. Repeat the process for the remaining circuits. Keep in mind, the circuits must be clipped in order.
  5. When you've bypassed the circuits to shut down the alarm, go through the door on your right. Follow the prompts to learn how to crouch.
  6. Sneak up on the guard on the right side of the room. Get close to him without being detected. When prompted, press B to perform a silent takedown.
  7. Grab the tranquilizer pistol from the counter in the security area. Use it to take down the other guard, who should be in view at the far end of the room.
  8. If you alert the guard to your presence, you'll have to fight a couple more guys, who come through the door beyond the first guard. You can run into this room and deactivate the alarm panel to quell the alarm. Look for a first aid box on the wall to the right of the door.
  9. Head through the door beyond the second guard. Look for ammo for the tranquilizer gun on the counter on the left.
  10. Go to the end of the room, turn right, and go down the stairs. At the bottom, turn right. Watch out for the security camera on the wall above the door you're trying to get to. If the camera sees you, or you destroy it, it'll trigger another alarm. Try to sneak past the camera while its cone of vision--indicated by the glowing green area--is pointed away from you.
  11. Get through the door, and learn about the game's cover system. Press A near a wall or other surface to take cover behind it.
  12. Take cover behind the section of wall on your left. Try to take out the guard just ahead silently. If an alarm gets triggered, look for the security panel on the right.
  13. Search the rooms on the left if you get into a fight and need to heal; there's a first aid box on the wall.
  14. Go through the door up ahead. Walk through the next room, and approach the locked door. Press A to attempt to pick the door's lock. Set the three pins so that the lines on some part of them lines up with the shear line on the display. Look for the doorknob on the right to go from clear to shaded; set the pin when the knob is shaded.
  15. Go through the door; there's a first aid box just ahead. Turn left, and find more ammo on the wall. Then go through the door on the right.
  16. After the short cutscene, learn how to select and use special abilities. Then look for the ammo right next to you. Turn right, and sneak along the catwalk in that direction.
  17. Go down the stairs, and turn right at the bottom. Look ahead to see the guard. Sneak up behind him, and perform a silent takedown to get him out of the way. Watch out; there are two more guards to your left, near the end of the room. You can take them out if you wish, or simply ignore them and move on.
  18. Climb up the ladder beyond the first guard. Follow the catwalk around to a door at the far end. Stay in a crouch; the guards below may catch sight of you if you just run forward.
  19. Open the door at the end of the catwalk; watch out for a guard, and a security camera, in the next room.
  20. Sneak forward. Find the computer terminal on your right. You can hack terminals to gain experience points and information. Follow the instructions on the screen to hack the computer terminal.
  21. Take out the guard, and sneak past the security camera. Go through the door up ahead, and up to the next.

Orientation

  1. After learning some of the facts about your situation, leave the room via the door on the right. Go through the door on the far side of the next room as well.
  2. Make your way through the rooms until you come to your locker. Learn how to change your appearance. You can adjust your facial features, or leave them as they are.
  3. You can bypass the remainder of this section by simply returning to the briefing room to embark on your first mission. Be advised, though, that going through the three orientation sections will get you the Basic Training achievement, worth 50 G.
  4. There's a laptop on the desk to the left of the lockers. Hack it to gain access to the base's email system. There's also a TV on the opposite wall, which you can turn on. Both will provide you with some back story.
  5. If you want to go ahead with your orientation, proceed to the next area. Go through the three doors in this hallway, in any order, to enter the various branches of orientation.
  6. Go into Gadget Orientation to meet Sean. After the introductory conversation, go down the stairs, turn right, and gather your gear from the locker.
  7. Practice throwing grenades. Hold down Right Button to see the grenade's trajectory; change the angle by simply moving with Left Stick. When the grenade is lined up to your liking, release Right Button to throw it.
  8. Take out the three cardboard targets. Next, bounce a grenade off the wall to take out the target behind cover. Then, throw a grenade through the window on the right. Last, toss a grenade under the truck to blow it up.
  9. Now switch to your EMP grenades. Press right on the Directional Pad to bring up your gadgets radial, and select the proper device.
  10. Turn around, and toss an EMP grenade toward the door control panel behind you. This will deactivate the door's lock, allowing you to proceed.
  11. In the next room, grab more gear from the locker on your right. Then turn left, and run up to the door. Hold Right Button to target the door, then release it to plant an explosive charge. Get out of the area before the charge blows.
  12. Go through the door on the right side of the room. Hold Right Button, aim at the floor, and release to plant mines. Prepare your ambush in front of the large sliding door on the left, and anywhere else in the room you have time for.
  13. When the guards come in, take out any who make it past your mines. Then turn around, and head through the door in the far right corner, and back to Sean. You can now choose to retry the gadgets orientation if you wish, or move on to the next section.
  14. Go to Weapon Orientation to talk to Mina. When you can, move across the room, and grab your ammo from the table.
  15. Approach the firing range. First, pick up your pistol. Shoot the targets that pop up in front of you. When prompted, keep your reticule on the target for a few seconds, until it turns red, then fire.
  16. Go to the next window, and pick up your submachine gun. Practice using this weapon. When prompted, take cover, and get a feel for blind-firing. then practice popping up, firing, and ducking back into cover.
  17. Leave the wondow, and head down the hallway on the right, toward the tactical traing section. At the first window, grab a pistol, and take out all the targets. Then move through the room, picking off any remaining targets.
  18. At the next window, grab a shotgun. Hold down Left Trigger before firing to steady your shot, ensuring accuracy as well as power. Use this technique to take down the four targets on the range, then move on to the left.
  19. Take out the targets on either side of the hallway while you move forward. They're not armored, so there's no need to hold down Left Trigger. Just blast them and move on.
  20. At the next window, grab your submachine gun. Use it to quickly clear out the tightly bunched targets on the range. Be ready for another target to appear, through the doorway on the left.
  21. Run through the room you just cleared out. At the next window, pick up an assault rifle. Use it to take out the targets on the range. There are a couple of targets up above, as well as the ones on the ground. Make sure of your aim by holding down Left Trigger.
  22. When the range is clear, turn right, and climb the ladder there. Run along the catwalk, climb down another ladder, and open the door up ahead to talk to Mina again.
  23. Go to Espionage Orientation to meet Alan Parker. When you're done talking to him, run up to the ladder, and climb it. At the top, hack the terminal to get onto the obstacle course.
  24. Go through the newly opened door. Move through the room on the other side, being careful not to get spotted by the security camera on the wall ahead. If the alarm does sound, shut it off via the terminal just to the left of the camera.
  25. Sneak past the camera, then jump over the gap in the walkway by pressing A. At the end of the walkway, wait until the camera below is looking away, then drop down and move past its range. Press A to hang from the edge, and A again to drop down to the ground.
  26. Move through the room, timing your progress to avoid the sweep of the security cameras. Pick the lock on the door in the far corner, and go through. If you trigger an alarm, you'll have to pick the lock before you can shut it off; the panel is on the other side of the door.
  27. In the next room, turn left, and press A to jump over the wall there. Sneak past the security camera beyond, then jump over the next wall. Press Left Button to return to a crouch immediately; there's a guard at the end of the hall on your right, who will see you and sound the alarm if you're careless. If this happens, shut down the alarm via the panel on the left wall.
  28. Climb the ladder. At the top, turn right, and press A to use the zip-line. Be ready for another guard at the bottom. Take him out, then move through the doors to return to Parker.

Saudi Arabia: Operation Desert Spear

  1. After your orientation, return to the briefing room to get your first assignment.
  2. Talk to Westridge. Stick with the conversation to the end to get as complete a picture as possible of the game's dialogue system.
  3. In the safehouse, talk to Westridge on the video monitor. Then go through the door on the left, and access your computer.
  4. Check your email. Make sure to download the funds attached to Mina's first email to you.
  5. Select the clearinghouse option to gain access to the wonderful world of black-market commerce. Here you can buy new weapons and gadgets, upgrade existing ones, and purchase bonuses and objectives for your missions. Use your available funds wisely.
  6. Check the mirror in the bathroom to customize your appearance for the upcoming mission. Then press Back to bring up your PDA.
  7. Check the Inventory section to modify your loadout. Go to Intel to read dossier entries on your various friends and enemies.
  8. You can launch one of the operation's three missions either through the PDA (in the Intel section, under Mission Selection) or by going to the front door and leaving the safehouse.

Bug Al-Samad Airfield

  1. Select this mission, then talk to Mina, your handler, to get some information. When your conversation's over, you'll head out on the mission.
  2. After the load-screen, take out the first guard. There are no more within earshot, so feel free to drop him with whatever weapon you want. Just be sure to take him out with one shot.
  3. Sneak past the security camera on the right. Around the corner is another guard; again, he's alone, so take him out however you can.
  4. Move forward; check out the building on the left. Inside is a computer you can hack, as well as some special ammo. There's also a first aid box on the wall, in case you've run into some trouble.
  5. Take out the guards in the two towers up ahead on the left. One way to do this is to climb up the ladder into the tower on the extreme left, drop the guy inside, then use the sniper rifle to eliminate the guy in the other tower.
  6. Make your way to the roof of the building on the right. Avoid the security cameras in the area as you do so. You can sneak around behind the towers; the cameras can't see into this area.
  7. Get onto the roof either by jumping from the second tower, or bypassing the door of the building itself. If you go in through the door, check for ammo on the first floor before ascending the stairs to the roof.
  8. Climb up the ladder to the highest roof of the building, then leap over onto the shipping containers. From there, jump across onto the catwalk to infiltrate the base.
  9. Turn left, and walk along the catwalk to the door. Open it and go through. On the next section of catwalk, turn right, and follow the catwalk down to a duffel bag of cash that you can grab. Then turn around, and climb down the ladder on the other end of the walkway.
  10. Kill the guards at the bottom. There are two of them initially; more may come in through the door on the left.
  11. Go outside, and into the building across the way. Inside, find another cash-filled duffel, some ammo, and a hackable computer terminal. Hacking it will shut down the cameras in the hangar.
  12. Go out by the door in the far left corner of the building. Sneak around behind the fence; watch for guards in the area. Get across to the building on the far side of the area. Sneak there, or fight your way in.
  13. Kill any enemies remaining in the building. Then sneak toward the front door. There are plenty more enemies outside. Sneak if you want, or go for a full frontal assault.
  14. Either way, make it across to the building on the far side. Inside, climb the ladder, and move along the catwalk. Go through the door, jump across the gap, then drop down.
  15. Pick the lock of the door on the left, and go inside the building. Go all the way up the stairs on your right to find a control room; kill any enemies that try to stop you, then approach the computer terminals.
  16. Hack the terminals to plant the bug, accomplishing your objective. The "get out of there" portion of the mission will be done automatically.

Investigate Jizan Weapon Stockpile

  1. Talk to Sean on the video monitor. Then head out to the mission.
  2. Drop the guard just ahead of where you start the mission. Be aware that there are two more around the corner to the left up ahead; they'll come running if you make too much noise disposing of the first.
  3. Climb up to the tower on the left to find a duffel bag with some cash. Then climb down, head up the path, and take out the other two guards if you haven't already.
  4. Follow the path around to another guard tower. Climb the ladder up to the platform, then walk across, onto the next path.
  5. Watch out for another guard up ahead, in the area of the large rocks. Dispatch him, then move to the end of the path.
  6. Drop down from the edge, and walk across to the platform. Climb down the ladder. Turn left, and climb down another ladder. Then turn right, and drop down to the ground.
  7. Climb up the ladder straight ahead. Take out the guard on the platform; you cansneak up on him directly if you hurry, or take your time, and hide in the partially walled-off area on the right.
  8. Look for a lockbox on the right, near where you climbed up. It contains some cash.
  9. Go out trough the break in the wall on the left side of the platform. Use the zip-line there to slide down to the ground. Sneak around the corner, then climb up the ladder on the wall. Look for a duffel bag on your left.
  10. In the passageway just ahead is another guard, walking his beat to your left. Wait for him to get close, then take him out.
  11. Follow the passageway down toward the turret. Take out another guard up ahead; if he goes into the tower with the guy on the turret, wait for him to come out.
  12. Move into the tower, and take out the guy on the turret. Use the turret to eliminate the lone guard on the ground, who should be right in front of you.
  13. Go back down to the far end of the passageway, and climb up the ladder on your left to find the radar dish. Then go through the door on the left. Kill the guy inside, then look for a briefcase on your right.
  14. Go around the corner and up the stairs. Turn left to find the generator. Shut it down.
  15. Use the zip-line just to your right to tackle the guy on the ground below. Press B while he's down to stomp him out. Watch for more guards to appear behind you; take them out.
  16. Turn to your right, and go through the red door behind the sandbags. Go down the stairs, to the tunnels beneath the base.
  17. Turn left, and follow the power line of the work light down the tunnel. In the next chamber, kill the three guards. You can sneak around and do each individually, or shoot it out with them all at once.
  18. Make your way around the top level; leap over the gap when you come to it. If you find yourself on the ground floor, climb the stairs on the right.
  19. Open the door just ahead to find a duffel. There's also a first aid box in here if you need it. Go through the door on the right, turn right, and make your way along the landing.
  20. There's a guard in the room at the bottom of the stairs, and another in the hallway outside. Take them both out. Then move out into the hallway, turn left, and look around the corner to see another guard. take him out as well, then move down the hallway.
  21. Bypass the lock on the cell door to your right at the end of the hallway. Follow the cells around to find some cash. Then return to the hallway.
  22. Pick the lock on the door at the end of the hallway, and go through. Open the door on the other side of the next room. Then go up the stairs on the left.
  23. Move through the series of small rooms ahead. Watch for guards; there should be three total in this area. Take them out, and make your way into the room at the end, where you'll find the computer terminal you're after. There's also an alarm shutdown panel in here, should you need it. Once the shutdown panel is hacked, you can use it again and again without having to rehack it.
  24. Hack the computer terminal. Then fight off the guard patrol that arrives from the direction you came from. Make sure to hit the alarm shutdown again before leaving the room.
  25. Make your way through the small rooms. Turn left ahead, just before reaching the stairs you came up by. Move down the hallway, through the newly opened cell door.
  26. Turn left, go through the doorway, and climb the stairs. Go out through the door at the top.
  27. Fight the large group of enemies spread around the courtyard outside. Their concentration is focused on the helicopter overhead, so you don't have to worry too much about stealth here.
  28. Make your way around the courtyard, taking out enemies as you go. The red arrows indicate targets that must be cleared before the copter can land.
  29. Once you get the message that the copter is landing, make your way toward the main gate. Watch out for more enemies, particularly one on the turret on the right. take them out, then climb up to the guard tower.
  30. Jump over the side of the tower onto the roof on the left. take out the enemies below. Then check the rooftop, and the guard tower on the left, for money.
  31. Go to the center of the roof, and drop down to the ground. Run up to the helicopter to complete the mission.

Intercept Nasri the Arms Dealer

  1. Before departing on this mission, you may want to pick up a sound generator from the clearinghouse. It'll come in handy.
  2. Try to bluff your way past the guards at the gate of the abandoned city. the direct approach is best here; it's not the time for jokes.
  3. Inside the city, move forward. Turn left, then go through the door on your right. Move through the room, and go out the door on the far side.
  4. When the alarm starts going off, use your sound generator to shut it down, or hack the alarm panel at the end of the room you're in.
  5. Move down the street. Watch out for the two guards, down the side street on your right. Take them down, then move through the door beyond.
  6. Search the ground floor room for useful items; there's a first aid box on the left if you need it. Then go up the stairs. Find a weapons mod on the desk on the right.
  7. Leap across the gap at the far side of the room. Then climb down the ladder on your right.
  8. Turn left, and pick the lock on the door there. Outside, turn right, then right again. At the intersection, turn left, and follow the street.
  9. Climb the ramps at the end of the street. At the top, turn right, and follow the next street.
  10. Go up the stairs on the left, and pick the lock of the door at the top. Go through the room beyond, and sneak down the first short set of stairs.
  11. Watch out for the lone guard in the hallway at the bottom of the next set of steps. He's facing away from you, and not moving; he shouldn't be too difficult to drop. Once you've done so, move up the hallway.
  12. Jump over the wall, and continue on. Watch out for the two guards around the next corner. One of them is on the ground, walking his rounds; the other is stationed on the walkway above, straight ahead.
  13. You can sneak by these guys if you time it right; the one on the ground walks a circular route, so wait until he's well away before moving past. Get by them however you wish. Duck into the doorway just to the left of the end of the street.
  14. There's a safe you can crack on the table just inside the door, and a duffel with some more money on the boxes against the wall.
  15. Go up the stairs at the back of the room. Watch out for the guy walking his patrol just beyond the door at the top. You'll need to take him out one way or another. then move across the rooftop.
  16. Watch the guard on the ground below. When he's not looking, drop down, turn left, and head up the street.
  17. Go through the doorway up ahead on the right. Open the door on the far side of the room. Move through the next room, turn left, and go through the hole in the building there.
  18. Climb up the stairs in the building. At the top, turn left, and climb down the ladder. Walk along the walkway; look down on the courtyard below to get an idea of the enemies' positions and movements.
  19. Drop down to the ground, and hide behind the nearest object. Sneak around the perimeter of the courtyard, in the shadowed area along the extreme right wall. Keep as many pillars and boxes as possible between you and your enemies, and stay out of their paths at all costs.
  20. When you come to the pile of boxes blocking the way, sneak around through the sunlight, just enough to get back into the shadow, toward the right. Find the ladder up onto the scaffolding, and climb it.
  21. Move along until you come to a ramp. Go up, and open the door at the top. Drop down via the edge on the left.
  22. Go through the large door. Watch out for the three guards in the next room. Sneak past them, or shoot them down. There's an alarm panel at the end of the area, on the right, should you need it.
  23. Leave the area via the door on the right. Go through the next room, and through the next door.
  24. In the large room, turn right, and sneak along the wall. Follow it around the corner, all the way to a door on the right. Go through.
  25. Turn right, and move down the hallway. Open the door on your left. Take out the elite guards in the next room. You can try to sneak around and take them out individually, but these guys are more observant than the average enemy; chances are this will turn into a firefight. Gun the guards down, then head toward the large door on the far side of the room. Look for a briefcase with some cash on the right.
  26. Go through the door, and deal with Nasri. How you conduct the conversation is up to you. You'll have a fairly wide range of options, including arresting him, shooting him, or extorting a bribe from him. Do what you need to do.

Intercept Shaheed and Recover Missiles

  1. Search the room you start the mission in for ammo. Then head toward the door. Take down the guard walking just outside; watch out for the one across the way.
  2. Take out the guy on the turret behind the sandbags. then, deal with the one in the guard tower above the building you started in. A few well-placed, silenced pistol shots will do the job. There's an alarm panel on the boxes to the right of the turret if you need it.
  3. Go through the red door, behind the turret position. In the bunkhouse, steal some poor guy's money from the chest on the left-hand wall.
  4. Take out the guard walking around outside the door on the right. Then eliminate the guard in the next room, where the computer equipment is. You can shoot him through the window in the bunkhouse, but be careful: he can see you too.
  5. There's a safe you can crack in the computer room. Then go down the stairs just beyond it. Look underneath the stairs to find a duffel with some cash, then go all the way to the back of the cellar, and hack the computer there to get more money, and some intel.
  6. Go back upstairs. Search the building for loot; kill any guards you come across. There's an alarm shutdown panel in the far northwest corner of the first floor, should you need it. There are also first aid boxes scattered around, and several duffels of cash.
  7. Follow the marker through the large door, and up the long flight of stairs beyond. At the top, hack the computer terminal on the right. Search the room for money, then head back down the stairs.
  8. Follow your marker to the door on the left. Get ready for a guard to come through. Drop him, then head outside through the door.
  9. Walk around the wall of the building. Open the gate, turn left, and head down along the path.
  10. Make your way through the airplane graveyard, by either stealth or firepower. There are numerous guards in the area, and several cameras. Whichever way you choose to go, be prepared for a challenge.
  11. Open the gate at the end of the graveyard, and go through. Go up the path. Be aware that, even if you've set off an alarm, once you're out of the graveyard area, at the end of the path, the alarm will cease.
  12. Watch out for the lone guard in this area. Drop him, then move up the path on the right.
  13. Take out the two guys in the building at the end of the path. You can shoot them through the window, or go inside and take them down.
  14. Inside the building, search for cash, then find the laptop on the far side of the room, and use it to signal the gate guard to open up (this will require hacking).
  15. Go outside, and back down the path. Kill the guard in front of the gate, then go through.
  16. If you don't make it inside the gate, go down to the left, and find a keypad you can bypass. If you have to do this, fight your way to the room at the southwest corner of the building, and hack the alarm panel there.
  17. Go up the long flight of stairs. Kill the guy at the top, then move through the doorway. watch out for another guy just to your left. Take him out, then hack the computer terminal to overload the generators.
  18. There's a snipe rifle in the room on the left, which overlooks the ground below. Use it to eliminate any enemies you can see.
  19. Go outside through the break in the wall, turn left, and use the zip-line there.
  20. Drop down from the roof, and move along the wall of the building until you come to a door. Go inside, and use the alarm panel if you need it.
  21. Leave the building, avoiding the cameras outside, and go into the large building across the way, on the eastern side of the map. Go all the way up the stairs. In the room at the top, use the computer to deactivate the security cameras.
  22. Open the door just to the right of the computer. Watch out for the guard outside. When you get a chance, drop him. then move out along the catwalk.
  23. Open the door up ahead, and go down the stairs beyond. On the ground, eliminate the enemies in the courtyard, stealthily or by pure force.
  24. Make your way to the southeastern corner of the room. Bypass the keypad there, and open the door.
  25. After the brief cutscene, take out the guards ahead of you. There's a zip-line running from the left guard tower to the right, which you can use to take out the guy on the turret. There's also a first aid box in the small building beneath the left-hand tower.
  26. Move around to the far right. Jump over the fence there, then head down the path.
  27. Take out or avoid the three guards up ahead. One is up on your level--you're pretty much forced to kill him--and two are down below, walking a beat.
  28. Drop down, and continue up the path. Make it to the area of the bridge.
  29. Kill the henchmen down on the ground with you. Be careful; they're extra perceptive. Climb the stairs on the left, and take on the second in command. He's tough; you'll have to wear down his armor before you start doing real damage. Keep at him, and use whatever active abilities you have to take him down.
  30. When the convoy arrives, gather up all the items around you, then use the zip-line on the left side of the bridge to slide down to the ground. Once there, eliminate the guards around you. Watch out for the one in the guard tower up above.
  31. Move up uncomfortably close to the armored vehicle. Find the items here: on the left, a grenade, and on the right, a missile launcher. Both will be necessary to take down the vehicle.
  32. Stay in cover as much as possible, and use your heavy-hitting weapons to wear down its armor. Stay on it, and make use of any first aid kits and active abilities you can.
  33. After you've defeated the vehicle, negotiate the conversations. Do what you feel you need to with Shaheed.

Moscow: Operation Blood Feud

  1. After the Saudi operation is complete, you'll have the opportunity to select your next destination. You can choose which operation you want to do next. Go to Moscow, Taipei, or Rome.
  2. You'll also get the chance to specialize your covert training. Select which preset skill-set to specialize in, or choose Operative to customize your own three skills.
  3. To begin Opereation Blood Feud, select Moscow from the available destinations.
  4. Talk to Scarlet on the flight out of Saudi Arabia. She's not as businesslike as Mina; you can get away with some light banter if you're so inclined.
  5. In the Moscow safehouse, take a look around. All the amenities are here: internet, weapon locker, bathroom mirror.
  6. Do whatever prep work you can before starting in on the missions. Buy some weapons, gadgets, upgrades, etc. Don't neglect the potential of intel.
  7. When you're ready, launch a mission to begin the operation.

Assault Lazo's Yacht and Retrieve Data

  1. When you find yourself on the back of the yacht, turn to the left and head up the stairs. Watch out for the security camera ahead on the right, and the two guards, one on either side of the boat.
  2. Trail the guard on the left, and take him down. Then return toward the back of the boat.
  3. Evade the camera as you sneak through the door into the interior of the yacht. Watch out for guards in here. Take them down silently if you want, or fire away. You don't need to be overly concerned with stealth; there are only so many guards on the yacht, and you should be able to deal with all of them, especially in the small groups in which they insist on rushing you.
  4. Go down the stairs on the left. Take out any guards in your way, and move down the short hallway, toward the dancing girl.
  5. Look for a first aid kit on the wall in the hallway on your right. Use it if you need to.
  6. Take down the dancing girl, or sneak past her. You can tranquilize her if you don't want to actually kill her.
  7. Move through the doorway on the left, and search the empty bedroom for money. Then go back through the main room, and through the doorway on the right.
  8. Take down Lazo; a well-placed shot to the back of the head should do it. Then head back up toward the stairs. Kill any guards that try to stop you.
  9. Take a left at the top of the stairs, and head across to the next set of stairs. Climb it, and move across the room at the top.
  10. Bypass the keypad on the wall across the room. Go inside to hack the computer.
  11. After the next cutscene, fight the enemy woman and her henchmen. They're just basic goons; she's a bit tougher. You need to completely wear down her armor before you can start doing actual damage. The armor regenrates, too, so you've got to keep pressure on her. Her guns are way more powerful than yours, so don't let her catch you out in the open. Stay in cover, and wear away her defenses.
  12. Sis, the main boss here, is always ready to run for new cover if she starts taking too much damage. If you can hit her hard enough, you can drive her backward, toward the aft end of the yacht.
  13. Try to pin Sis behind the gaming table at the back of the area. Once she's there, even while she's in cover, her legs will be visible beneath the tabletop. Fire away at her, keeping her shield from regenerating and wearing down her health.
  14. A well-placed grenade should take Sis' armor pretty much all the way down. Be ready with a full clip, and let her have it when her defenses are down.
  15. After defeating Sis, decide whether to spare her or execute her. This brief conversation will wrap up the mission.
  16. If you let Sis live, you'll be contacted shortly by Albatross, the head of G22. You can then arrange a meeting with him.

Contact Grigori the Informant

Just select this mission, and you'll find yourself in a Moscow bar, in a conversation with Grigori. Handle the conversation however you want. Prioritize your objectives; you won't be able to ask Grigori about everything. Staying on Grigori's good side will get you not just information, but access to more weapons on the clearinghouse...and possibly, sold out to your enemies.

Contact Albatross

If you spared Sis earlier, you'll be contacted by Albatross, the head of the shadowy organization known as G22. If you want, you can meet with him in a Moscow park. Talk to Albatross however you want. If you accept his suggestion of an alliance, you'll gain access to new options in the clearinghouse.

Investigate Weapon Shipments

  1. Talk to the Russian woman up above you. It's possible to work a deal with her; if you don't kill any of her agents, they won't kill you. Be aggressive with her, but not outright rude.
  2. After your chat, take down the goons that appear behind you. Then move through the doorway behind them, and turn left. Check for a duffel bag on the shelf on your right.
  3. Open the door, and check the room for items. then go out by the door at the far end.
  4. Kill off the three goons straight ahead. Then move along the wall. When you come to the chainlink gate on the right, pick the lock and go through.
  5. Bypass the keypad on the wall straight ahead. Go into the next room and search it for a useful weapon upgrade.
  6. Go back outside. Go up the steps, and through the door. Watch for goons ahead. Avoid the sniper sights showing through the windows, and make your way across the room.
  7. Hack the computer terminal at the end of the room. There's an alarm panel to the right, and a first aid station to the left, if you need them.
  8. Go out through the door to the left. Evade the snipers as you move across the yard. Go from cover to cover, until you reach a large garage door.
  9. Bypass the keypad next to the door, and go inside. The lone guard in the next room is somehow ignorant of your presence; you can take him down stealthily if you want. Then go to the end of the room, and hack the computer there. There's also first aid and an alarm panel here.
  10. Open the door on the right. Climb up the ladder just ahead. Watch for a guard on the walkway ahead, walking his beat.
  11. Take out the guard, then move down the walkway to the right. there are plenty of enemies in the area; move stealthily.
  12. At the end of the walkway, leap over onto the train car. Turn left, and leap over onto the next car. From there, walk across the boards, onto the walkway. Duck into cover to prevent detection.
  13. Move to the left along the walkway. Take out any guards in your path. If you're seen, just gun them down; there aren't that many in the immediate vicinity.
  14. Climb the ladder at the end of the walkway, turn left, and follow the walkway around. Get on the crane controls ahead and to the right.
  15. Ride the crane down the area, taking out any goons in your way. If you made the deal with the Russian lady at the beginning of the mission, abide by it; there are friendlies in the area, so watch where you shoot.
  16. At the end of the run, get off the crane via the gap on the right. Turn left, and go down to the end of the walkway. Watch for more enemies on the ground below.
  17. Drop down to the ground via the gap on your left. Move straight across, to the locked gate. Use the panel on the left to open the gate.
  18. The enemies in the next area have no idea anything's wrong; you can once again use stealth. Turn right, and make your way along the tracks. Don't get caught on the tracks when a train comes through.
  19. At the end of the area, climb up the ladder on your left. At the top, turn left, then right. Watch out for the guard on the overpass. Kill him, then cross to the other side of the tracks.
  20. From the overpass, look right; take out the guard there--and the one to the left, just to be safe--and move on along the walkway on the right.
  21. Kill the guards on the ground below, then climb down. Go across to the train car, and open the door to find the weapons.
  22. Decide whether to destroy the shipment, or reroute it. If you decide to destroy the weapons, get out of the car as fast as possible; you don't want to be caught in the explosion.
  23. Fight the guards outside, and get away from the train car. Move toward the door straight ahead, and go through.
  24. Hack the computer terminal on the right. Then search the room for items. Find a first aid box on the wall to the left of the door.
  25. Move through the room, and kill the guards on the far side. Then go out through the door, turn right, and kill more guards. Kill all of them to trigger a conversation.
  26. Chat with the Russian woman again. Handle yourself as you see fit. This conversation will end the mission.

Intercept Surkov at US Embassy

  1. Talk to Mina on the video feed. If you're contacted by Albatross, accept his help.
  2. Outside the embassy, move to the right. Find a ladder on the left side of the blind alley, and climb up to the roof.
  3. Sneak around to the right side of the roof. Stay out of sight of the guard on the left. When you get to the end of the roof, wait for the guard to face the other direction, then bypass the keypad by the door on the left, and go inside.
  4. Turn to the right. Pick the lock on the door on the left, and go through. Hack the computer, then search the room for items.
  5. Go down the hall. When you come to the gap on your left, drop down. turn right, then left, and follow the hallway.
  6. Go through the doorway on the right. Leave the room by the doorway on the left, turn right, and follow the marker through the next room.
  7. Take out the guards in the hallway ahead. then turn right, and go down the hallway. Use the first aid box on the wall on the right if you need it, then get on the elevator right beside it.
  8. Get off the elevator, and move up the hallway to the left. Leap over the gap, and keep going.
  9. Watch out for a guard around the corner to the left. Drop him, then continue to follow the hallway.
  10. Go through the room on the left. Take out another guard, then follow the marker forward. Skirt the edge of the hole on the right, and look into the computer room. Kill the guards in there.
  11. Watch out for the turret on your left. Avoid it. Search the room for items, then move down to the left to find Surkov. Talk to him.
  12. Follow the marker forward. Watch for a turret in the next room. Avoid it, and go through the room. There's a hackable computer in here.
  13. Open the door on the left. In the next room, find an alarm shutdown panel and health. Then climb the ladder on the right, up to the third floor.
  14. Avoid the camera as you move through the room up ahead. Bear to the right. When the enemies come in, take cover, and try to stay out of sight. There's a computer on one of the desks here.
  15. The enemies here are too tightly packed to be taken with stealth, but you can at least get the drop on them. Hit them with any grenades you have, and fire away with your best gun. Eliminate them all.
  16. Search the area, then go through the doorway on the left at the end of the hall. Circle around to the right.
  17. Watch out for a turret ahead. Just beyond it is another group of enemies. Take them all out, then go to the security computer in the far room and hack it. this will accomplish the objective, as well as shutting down the alarm.
  18. Move toward the newly opened doorway ahead. Watch out for another group of enemies to appear up ahead. Take them out; once again, stealth won't work here.
  19. Fight your way forward. Kill all enemies in your path. When you come to the stairs, go down, and jump over the gap. Look for a first aid box on your left, then go down the ramps.
  20. Follow your marker forward, to Surkov. Open the front door and go outside. Don't let Surkov die as you battle the large group of enemies outside. He's not very good at staying alive, so you'll have to hustle to keep him breathing.
  21. The enemies will run right up to Surkov, in addition to shooting and throwing grenades from afar. Use whatever weapons and abilities you can to take down as many of them as you can, as quickly as possible. Stay near Surkov, so that you can keep an eye on him, and defend him if he gets in trouble, which he will.

Meet Surkov at Moscow Office

This is another short conversation-only mission. Just talk toe Surkov, dealing with him on whatever terms you see fit. He's a businessman, so he respects direct, businesslike communication.

Assault Brayko's Mansion

  1. Depending on your previous dealings with the various personalities you've encountered so far, this mission may play out in one of a few different ways. You may begin the assault stealthily or very noisily. If you start on the turret in the armored vehicle, simply use it to mow down the guards in the courthouse, then proceed with the mission.
  2. If you start out on foot, sneak forward, and take down the lone guard on the rooftop. Then look to the right. Get on the sniper rifle, and use it to take down the guards down below.
  3. After dropping the first guard, be ready for more to come running. they'll know something's up--since their buddy just collapsed to the ground with a hollow head--but they won't know where you are. Take the rest of them down--there should be three more in all--then exit the sniper rifle.
  4. Use the zip-line to the left of the rifle to reach the ground. Then turn left, approach the door, and bypass the keypad.
  5. Once inside, sneak up the hallway. Turn left into the arcade--like the rest of the house, very 80s--and make your way through it to the left. There are guards here: three in the room on the left, and more down the hall. Chances are you won't be able to sneak through, so use the element of surprise to drop as many guards as you can, then deal with the rest as they show up.
  6. Move down to the end of the arcade. There's a first aid box on the wall if you need it. Go through the door.
  7. Head down the hallway. Approach the guarded room at the end. When the thugs burst in, stay in cover until the battle plays itself out. then kill off anyone left alive, and move through the room, to your left.
  8. Kill the goons in the next room. There's also a civilian in here; deal with her as you see fit. Then find the computer on the desk on the left, and hack it.
  9. Go up the staircase revealed by the sliding bookshelves. There's a safe you can crack on your left. Up ahead, on the right, is an alarm panel.
  10. At the top of the stairs, take out the group of thugs. Drop as many as you can before they catch on, then shoot it out with the rest.
  11. Move through the casino room. there's plenty of money to be had on the gaming tables here.
  12. Leave the casino room and go down the stairs straight ahead. Look for a first aid box on the right. Then go through the door straight ahead.
  13. When Mina contacts you again, you'll be asked to prioritize either an ally (Which one will depend on your previous interactions) or the data you came for. It's up to you. Just be aware that this is a zero sum decision; you'll lose either the data or the ally, so choose carefully.
  14. If you want to rescue your ally, go through the door on the right side of the courtyard. Kill the guards in the guest house, then speak briefly to your ally. Free him or her, if you wish.
  15. If you want to go after the data, enter the mansion through the door on the left. Inside, fight the guard on the right, then move up the hallway. Go through the door, and down the stairs.
  16. Watch out for the turret high up on the wall in the room at the bottom of the stairs. Destroy it, then go into the room, and hack the two computers. there's also a first aid box in here.
  17. When the vault opens up, go inside. Loot the place; there' money galore. Crack the safe on the table to get the goods on Halbech.
  18. Leave the vault, and take down the guards in the next room. Then head back up the stairs, and through the door at the top.
  19. Move up the hallway, and turn left. In the next room, you can pick the lock on the door straight ahead, then crack the safe inside, for some dossier information on Surkov.
  20. In the main room, go through the door on the left. Kill the three guards inside, then crack the safe to get some cash.
  21. Out in the hallway, turn left, and go through the door. Outside, turn left, and bypass the keypad on the door there. Go back inside.
  22. Fight the four guards at the end of the hallway. Check the wall on the right for a first aid box. Gather up the items in here, then head through the door at the end of the room.
  23. Talk to Brayko. you can get the drop on him by attacking during the conversation. You'll have to fight him, so you might as well.
  24. Brayko has armor, but underneath, he's as weak as his taste in music. That is, when he's sober. Shoot him when you get the chance; don't give his armor a chance to regenerate.
  25. When Brayko snorts his favorite stimulant, run. He'll come at you with his knife, and there' not a whole lot you can do against him when he's this hyper. Just run around the room until he exhausts himself, at which point you can get some damage on him, if you're quick. Listen for tired little noise after he's been chasing you for a while; that's your signal to turn on him, and get some shots in before he disappears.
  26. When Brayko goes upstairs, concentrate on dealing with his goons. Avoid his laser sights, and take out the thugs on the floor.
  27. There are several first aid boxes in the area, and some incendiary bombs up on the stage. Use them as you see fit. Don't neglect to gather up all the ammo you can from the fallen goons; you'll be going through bullets pretty fast during this fight. The ammo in the alcoves on either side of the room regenerates as well.
  28. Toward the end of the fight, Brayko will run out of goons, and try to finish you off himself. Now you just need to worry about avoiding him while he's coked out, and doing as much damage as possible while he's not.
  29. Use whatever abilities you can against Brayko and his goons. Wear him down until he's finally done.
  30. After the battle, talk to Brayko. Interrogate him as you see fit. Decide whether he lives of dies. This genial conversation will wrap up the mission, and Operation Blood Feud.

Prevent Surkov's Escape

  1. When you find yourself in the reception room, go behind the desk and hack the computer if you want. Then bypass the keypad on the door to your left, and open it.
  2. Out in the hallway, watch out for a guard just around the corner to the left. Drop him, then move down the hall in that direction.
  3. Make sure you duck as you go past the window on the right; there are more goons in the next room.
  4. There's another window at the end of the hallway. Make sure no one is currently looking out of it before rounding the corner.
  5. Drop the guard in the room behind the window; there's no glass, so don't worry about making noise if you shoot him through the opening. Move into the room he occupied.
  6. Kill the guard in the next room. Hack the computer in there. Make sure the guard in the next room isn't watching you first; you may just want to drop him right away.
  7. Make your way through the large room ahead, and up the stairs. There are plenty more guards in your path. Kill them stealthily, one by one, or noisily, and all at once.
  8. At the top of the stairs, speak briefly to Surkov. Then meet his bodyguard, Championchik, again.
  9. Championchik is a brawler, so naturally, he'll seek to get in close. Don't let this happen. Run down the stairs, and plug away at him with your best gun from a distance. this will also help you avoid the thugs that show up down the hall when the battle begins. They'll still fire down on you from the balcony, but they won't be nearly as effective.
  10. Championchik has a regenerating shield, but it's not all that strong. You should be able to take it down with a few shots. When you do, wear down his health as much as possible. He's not all that tough, as long as you keep your distance.
  11. If you have the Active Ability of Chain Shot, this is a good time for it. Four or five well-placed shots to the head should be enough to bring down Championchik, armor and all.
  12. Once Championchik's defeated, go back upstairs, and deal with the rest of the hired goons. Make your way down the hallway.
  13. When the place begins to burn, duck into the newly accessible room on the right. Move forward, taking out Surkov's goons however you can. Look for a safe on the right in the next room.
  14. In the next room is a computer you can hack. Then go out through the door on the right.
  15. Outside, talk to Surkov. Pump him for information. How you do it, and whether you let him live, is up to you.

Rome: Operation Deus Vult

  1. When you find yourself in the Rome safehouse, look around the apartment. As usual, you have a computer, a TV, a weapon locker, and a bathroom mirror.
  2. Go online and take care of any business you have. Read your emails, and buy some upgrades and intelligence from the clearinghouse.
  3. Remember to hit the weapon locker before departing for a mission. Make sure everything is in order: equip your gadgets, upgrade your weapons, etc.
  4. When you're ready, head out through the front door, or access your first mission via your PDA.

Bug CIA Listening Post

  1. This mission involves US friendlies; you'll lose reputation points if you kill any. you can use nonlethal alternatives, like tranquilizer rounds and silent take-downs, if you need to.
  2. Check out the room in which you begin the mission. Pick up any items you see, then go to the box on the wall on the left. Cut the video feed.
  3. Go back behind the shelves, and hide. Wait for the CIA agent to come downstairs to check the wiring. When he's past you, sneak up the stairs.
  4. Open the door at the top of the stairs, then sneak forward. Wait for the guard at the top of the stairs on the left to walk by on the landing above. Then quickly sneak up the stairs, and get cover in the alcove just to the left.
  5. Go through the doorway in the alcove, and turn left. In the next room, find a computer. Hack it to shut down the cameras on the third floor.
  6. Move to the right, and find another computer. Hack it to install a backdoor in the system.
  7. Look out the door to the left of the computer. Make sure the agent on the landing out there isn't looking in your direction. If he's in sight, wait for him to move off to the left.
  8. Sneak up the stairs. Watch out for the agent on the next landing. Quickly sneak by him while his back is turned, into the room just ahead.
  9. Look in the room to the right to find some money, and a computer you can hack if you want. If you do, you'll be able to read some secret CIA emails.
  10. Go back into the previous room, and approach the door on the right side. Turn right, and check out the air conditioning unit. Press A to modify it.
  11. Quickly go back to the other room, and find someplace to hide; behind the open door works well. When the agent runs out of the previously locked room, wait for him to pass you, then sneak around behind him, and go into the target room.
  12. Find the computer on the left, and hack it. This will accomplish your task, as well as allowing you access to more emails.
  13. Search the room for any useful items, then head out through the door just to the left of the computer. Watch for an agent on the landing outside. When he turns his back to you, sneak up and take him down.
  14. Go down the stairs. There are agents all over the place; sneak around and avoid them as you make your way down to the first floor.
  15. Turn left, and go out through the door. There's one more set of doors beyond; go through to escape the CIA building and finish the mission.
  16. Back in the safehouse, be ready to talk to Mina over the video feed.

Intercept NSA Intelligence

  1. In the gelato place, talk the mission over with Mina.Then wait at the counter for the agent to appear.
  2. Talk to the agent manning the gelato shop cover operation. Try to give him the pass phrase. Get nothing in response.
  3. Bluff your way to the computer. The guy in charge of the place may not be in on the fact that his shop is a front for the NSA. He may just be a genuinely filthy person.
  4. Leave the shop peacefully; you'll gain nothing from killing the gelato merchant, and you'll risk losing a valuable source of information.
  5. After this short, talking-only mission, do whatever you need to do in the safehouse, then head out to the next mission.

Identify Jibril Al-Bara at Chateau

  1. When you get control, use the sniper rifle's scope to scan the two men outside the main gates. One will settle down on the right side of the gate, the other on the left.
  2. Hold the reticule on the guys as steadily as possible to get a quicker scan. You can switch between the scope's three levels of magnification with Left Trigger.
  3. Don't shoot any of these guys; they have nothing to do with the mission at hand.
  4. Scan the third man, just inside the gate. This will complete your scan of the front gate area, and you'll move on.
  5. From your next position, scan the two men outside. Then turn your attention to the interior of the house. Scan the stripper, visible through the first floor window.
  6. Scan the man walking around on the second floor. You may have to look through the window on the left or the one on the right, or both.
  7. Look for another man outside, on or near the steps on the right. He'll round out your scan of this area.
  8. From your next position, scan the men on the ground. You may have to wait around for them to come into view; they're walking around, and are sometimes screened by trees. Scan the guy on the stairs on the left of the area.
  9. Look up at the railing at the top of the house, above the stairs, toward the left. Scan the guy there to discover your target, Jibril Al-Bara.
  10. You can now choose to either assassinate Al-Bara, or abort the mission. This is up to you. Read all the available info on Al-Bara in your PDA before making your decision. Bear in mind that Al-Bara, literally translated, means "The Innocent."
  11. Back in the safehouse, check your email for an important message.

Contact Jibril Al-Bara

  1. If you let Jibril live at the end of the previous mission, you'll have the opportunity to contact him. Launch this mission to do so.
  2. Before beginning the mission, you may want to purchase the intel available in the clearinghouse. This is dossier information concerning Conrad Marburg.
  3. When Al-Bara fails to appear for your meeting, don't hold it against him; he's dead. Talk instead to Conrad Marburg, an operative in the very highest levels of teh Halbech corporation.
  4. Marburg is a hardened veteran; you won't be able to intimidate or bluff him. The best you can do is keep your cool as the conversation turns ugly. Listen to Marburg's terms, but don't think you can persuade him to change them.
  5. After your chat with Marburg, have another brief, flash-forward conversation with Leland. After that, you'll talk to Mina, who will patch you through to your next contact, Madison Saint James.

Contact Madison Saint James

  1. You can purchase additional dossier information on Ms. Saint James before meeting with her. When you're ready, launch this mission.
  2. Talk to Madison. Try to determine how much she knows, and where her loyalties really lie.
  3. Bring Madison back to the safehouse. It's taking a major risk, but it's the only way you'll get the information you need.

Investigate Marburg's Villa

  1. Talk to Marburg again. Handle the conversation however you want; you can even attack him, if you think that's best.
  2. Fight Marburg's goons. Your weapons and gadgets have been confiscated, but you can still use whatever Active Abilities you have that don't involve guns.
  3. After defeating the goons, talk to Mina. Choose who you want to handle you on this mission. That's up to you.
  4. Fight another goon, who comes in through the previously locked door. Then go out into the hallway.
  5. Watch out for the guard and camera down the hallway around the corner on the right. It's possible to sneak up on the guard if you have the Active Ability "Shadow Operative;" if not, you'll have to be a little less subtle. Either way, take the guard down, and avoid the camera.
  6. Open the door. Take out the three guards in the next room. You may be able to do a silent takedown on the one immediately to the left of the door, but chances are the other two will catch on to your presence. Fight them, being careful to avoid the gaze of the security cameras in here.
  7. Go through the door at the end of the room. Watch out for the guard at the end of the hallway. Wait for him to walk past the intersection, then sneak up and take him down.
  8. Turn to the right, and open the door on your right, just around the corner. Go into the closet and grab your gear. There's also a first aid box on the wall if you need it.
  9. Go back into the hallway, turn left, and sneak around the camera. Go through the door on the right at the end of the hallway.
  10. Take out the lone guard in the next room. Inside, find a safe you can crack, and two computers, both of which you can hack. One of the computers will shut off the security cameras in the area. the safe is difficult to crack, and contains nothing but money. There's also an alarm panel in here, but it too represents a sudden jump in difficulty.
  11. Leave the room and go back down the hallway. Go through the door at the far end.
  12. Sneak down the stairs. Drop the guard at the window ahead; he's facing away from you, and shouldn't be a problem.
  13. Take out the guards below. There are a bunch of them so be prepared for alarms to sound before they're all down.
  14. Go out into the hallway. There's an alarm panel on your left; it's another tricky one.
  15. Turn right and follow the hallway there to a set of glass doors. Watch out for a guard on the patio just outside. When he's not looking, go outside and take him down.
  16. There's another guard standing right up against a pillar to your left. Take him down, then move in that direction. There are two more guards between you and your next destination; take them down, silently or overtly, and continue toward the end of the patio.
  17. Watch out for the automatic turret up ahead. Get past it, and go through the door just beyond. If the turret sees you, there's an alarm panel right behind it; thankfully, this one is less complex than the ones you've dealt with previously this mission.
  18. Back inside, follow the hallway as it curves around. Go through the doors at the very end of the hallway. Fight the guards in the next room. There are too many to take down stealthily; just shoot them down.
  19. In the bar area across the room, there's a safe you can crack, a first aid box, and an alarm shutdown panel.
  20. Go up the stairs in the right-hand corner of the room. At the top, follow the balcony around to a door. Go through, then through another door. In the next room, drop the guy near the windows on the left.
  21. Use the sniper rifle on the second balcony to take down the guards in the courtyard below. Then retrace your steps back down to the game room.
  22. Go through the doors at the end of the game room. Follow the hallway. When the guard comes out of the room on the right, take him down, then go into the room he came from. Search the room for items, and hack the computer to deactivate the turrets. There's also another difficult alarm panel in here.
  23. Go back out into the hallway, and through the next door. Look for the cash on the table at the end of the hallway, then go outside through the glass doors on the right.
  24. Go across the courtyard. If you used the sniper rifle earlier, it should be clear. Go out through the gates to end the mission.

Investigate Ruins Transmission

  1. Move forward into the ruins. If you purchase the intel for this mission, the enemies here will ignore you. If not, you'll have to drop them on your way.
  2. Jump over the barrier at the end of the path. Watch out for the guard up ahead; he's not on your side. Take him down, then move through the doorway on the left.
  3. Take down two more guards in the next area. Then head around to the right, through the archway.
  4. Look out for the guard ahead. Take him down, and move forward and to the right. In the next area, take down two more guards.
  5. Set the charge on the weapons crates in the corner. Then climb down the ladder nearby. Go down the stairs, into the catacombs.
  6. Move forward along the tunnel. Watch for a guard just around the corner up ahead. Further on there's another guard, walking a beat.
  7. At the end of the tunnel, look for a guard at the top of the stairs. When he walks away, go upstairs and outside.
  8. Turn left, and go through the small room there. Go through the doorway on the left. In the next area, find some items, and the second weapons cache. Place a charge on it.
  9. Go through the small room; take out the two guards up ahead. Then turn left, and go forward. In a small alcove on the left, find a safe you can crack (with difficulty).
  10. Go through the opening ahead. Take down the guards in the next area. Then search the area for items. There's a safe on the left, and another in the alcove further on in that direction. Hack the computer here.
  11. Defend the computer from the enemies that storm the area. Use the few seconds you have before they arrive to lay some traps: remote mines, shock traps, etc. You can plant grenades as you would mines.
  12. When the enemies arrive, they'll come from both directions. Fight them off. Use whatever gadgets and abilities you need to. When you've held off the enemy assault, the mission will be over.

Investigate Delivery at Warehouse

  1. You can buy help from Surkov for this mission via the clearinghouse. If you do, he'll send some reinforcements to help you out.
  2. When you gain control, take out the guard patrolling just ahead. Then move forward. Look for another guard off to the left; take him out as well. You can pick the lock on one of the storage containers on the left, but be advised, it's difficult.
  3. Bypass the keypad on the door on the right, and go inside. Move forward. If you ordered reinforcements from Surkov, here's where they'll arrive.
  4. After the cutscene, help your allies finish off your enemies. Avoid friendly fire, both giving and receiving. Check the room on the left if you need health; you can pick the lock, or go around through the other door, ahead and to the left. There's also a safe you can crack in this room.
  5. Move up to the second floor via the stairs in the left-hand corner. At the top, turn left, and follow the walkway around to a small room.
  6. Watch for a guard to come out of the room. When he does, drop him, then go in. Try your hand at the safe in here if you want, then hack the computer on the desk.
  7. Run back down to the first floor. Find the body of the man your enemies were torturing; search the body to learn the man's identity.
  8. Get past the police that show up outside the warehouse. If you kill any of them, you'll lose points with Mina. Go down the path you started on, and follow it out to the gates. Go through the wrap up the mission.
  9. Back in the safehouse, talk to Madison. Try to figure out what Marburg's scheme is.

Intercept Marburg at Museum of Art

  1. Wait for the guard to walk by in the hallway ahead, then get off the elevator. Take down the guard.
  2. Move forward and to the right; watch out for the camera on the wall. Go through the door, and kill the guards in the next room.
  3. Avoid the cameras in here as well. There's an alarm panel on the right side of the far wall.
  4. Go through one of the doors on the same wall. In the hallway outside, turn right, and continue on.
  5. Bypass the keypad on the door at the end of the hallway. Take down the guards in the next room. There should be three initially; be ready for more to arrive through the doorway on the far side of the room.
  6. Search the room for items, and for a computer with which you can hack into the email system. Then head through a few doors, and down the stairs.
  7. Go across the basement, and through another few doors. At the end of the basement, go up the flight of stairs. Watch out for a guard on the stairs; take him down.
  8. At the top of the stairs, go through another door. Then go through the door on the left.
  9. In the next area, help the security guards defeat Marburg's thugs. Clear the room of enemies, then check the snack bar along the right-hand wall for a hackable computer. there's also a safe in here.
  10. Gather up any items on the first floor. If you're banged up, find the first aid box in the far left-hand corner of the area.
  11. Head up the stairs on the left; it doesn't matter which side of the stairs you take. Go across the walkway.
  12. After Marburg's announcement, decide whether to go after Madison or the bomb. It's your decision. You can pick the lock on the door near the east wing; inside the room is a briefcase with some cash.
  13. Whichever way you go, you'll have to deal with guards, proximity mines, and turrets. Avoid the defenses as best you can, and take out the enemies in your way.
  14. Watch for side doors whose locks you can pick gaining access to hackable computers and other useful sources of information.
  15. If you go after the bomb, watch out for the turrets around the door. When you go through, take out the guards in the next room, then disarm both of the detonating devices by hacking the two computers.
  16. When Marburg arrives, attack him; there's no use wasting time talking. First eliminate Marburg's goons, being careful to avoid the laser sight of his powerful gun.
  17. When the first wave of goons is down, another will appear, but you'll have some time alone with Marburg first. Do as much damage as you can in this time. Marburg has a fairly standard regenerating shield, which you'll have the strip down before inflicting real damage.
  18. Marburg is aggressive, running right at you when you've put a little hurt on him. Use his aggression against him: plant mines around to whittle down his shield so you can use your gun to wear down his health.
  19. Use whatever offensive Active Abilities you have. An advanced level of Chain Shot works particularly well here; a five-shot cluster in Marburg's face will take down about half his health, even starting with a full shield.
  20. When Marburg's health is sufficiently low, engage him in the verbal segment of the battle. Conduct the conversation as you see fit. No matter what you say. Marburg will escape.
  21. In another flash-forward, talk once again to the loathsome Leland. Then close up the Rome safehouse, and head to your next destination.

Taipei: Operation True Heirs

  1. Fly to Taipei, and make yourself at home in the somewhat underwhelming safehouse there. Talk to Mina on the video feed.
  2. Go into the bathroom, and into the shower stall. Hit the button.
  3. Downstairs, check out the real safehouse. You've got the usual tools of the trade down here, and a much cooler way of exiting the safehouse than a front door.
  4. Get on the computer and check your email and the clearinghouse. Stock up on anything you need before heading out on your first mission in Taipei.

Contact Hong Shi

  1. In the Lion's Den Restaurant, talk to Hong Shi, a major player in the Taipei underworld.
  2. Hong Shi is a businessman. He doesn't appreciate banter or small talk. He prefers his conversations succinct and to the point. bear this in mind when talking to him.
  3. Accept Hong Shi's proposal. this will open up the mission "Assault Triad Headquarters in Slums," and put you on the track of the information you're after.

Assault Triad Headquarters in Slums

  1. Before heading out on the mission, buy the aid of one of the defecting Triads. This will make the mission easier by opening up alternative routes.
  2. When you gain control, open the door just ahead on your left. Move down the hallway. Watch out for a guard in the room on the right. Take him out, then go into the room and search it.
  3. Be ready for another goon to come in via the hallway. Take him down, preferably silently. Then hack the computer in this room. There's also an alarm panel in here.
  4. Leave the room by the doorway you came in through. Turn right, and follow the hallway. At the end, go up the stairs, and through the door on the right.
  5. Kill the guard in the next stretch of hallway. Then move forward, avoiding the security camera.
  6. Pick the lock on the second door on the right. In the next room, find and assassinate your first Triad boss. You probably won't get the drop on him. Just put him down as quickly as you can. If you make too much noise, be prepared for some guards to come in.
  7. Hack the computer in this room to shut down the security cameras. There's an alarm panel on the wall if you need it.
  8. Retrace your steps back down the stairs and through the rooms. You may run into guards here; if so, dispatch them and move on. Go out through the double doors in the room on the left.
  9. Outside, move forward cautiously. Take out the guard on the stairs on the left, then go through the gate in the chainlink fence and climb them.
  10. At the top, turn left, and follow the overpass to another set of stairs, on the right. Go down to street level, and open the gate in the fence ahead.
  11. Turn left, and head up the alley. Open the door and go through. In the next area, go through the second door on the right.
  12. Take down the guard ahead, then move forward, toward the door on the left of the area. If you're spotted, you'll have to battle a large contingent of guards.
  13. Go inside, and up the stairs on the right. Watch out for another guard here.
  14. At the top of the stairs, go into the room, and take out Tony Tseng, your second target.
  15. Go out through the break in the wall, and across the improvised bridge. In the next room, look for a hackable computer. Then go out through the break in the wall, and use the zip-line to get over the fence down below.
  16. Follow the alley as it curves around. Go through the doorway up ahead on the right.
  17. Inside, check the room on the left for items, then climb the ladder in the room on the right.
  18. Go out through the break in the wall, and across to the next building. There's an alarm panel in here should you need it.
  19. Go down the steps in here, and find some cash and dossier information down below. Then go back upstairs, and drop down from the break in the wall ahead.
  20. Before going out through the door at the end of the hallway, look through the window in the room on the right, and drop the guard outside; you can also go out and sneak behind him if you want.
  21. Outside again, turn right, go down the alley, then turn left. Go through the doorway and up the stairs. At the top, move forward, then slide down the ladder.
  22. Look for health on the wall just ahead. Then follow your marker forward, down the hallway to the right.
  23. Outside again, look for a guard at the end of the alley. Drop him, then continue on. Watch for two more guards around the corner to the left.
  24. Gather up the items from the table near the guards, then pick the lock on the gate on your right.
  25. Go through the gate, and climb down the ladder on your right. Move forward cautiously; there are guards around the next corner.
  26. Move through the doorway on the other side of the next area. Watch for two more guards in the room beyond. Drop them, then open up the door on the right side of the room to find some money.
  27. Go through the door at the end of the room, and drop the guard in the next. Find two hackable computers, and a crackable safe, in this room. Make sure you hack the computer that controls the turrets.
  28. Fight the final Triad defector, and a group of his goons, in the next room. They shouldn't be too much of a problem, especially with the turrets on your side.
  29. When the last of the targets is down, prepare for an attack. Lay down whatever mines and other defensive gadgets you have, and be ready to jump on the turret.
  30. Fight off the thugs that attack you here. They mostly come from the platform on the left side of the room, but be ready for them to come from the doorway you entered through too. Make use of the turret in the right corner of the room to take them down.
  31. When you've killed off all the enemies here, approach the platform on the left to exit the slums.
  32. Talk to Hong Shi again. Use whatever means you see fit to get the information you're after. You can bargain with him, but don't push him too far.
  33. Back in the sfaehouse, talk to Mina again to receive some more information.

Investigate Warehouse District Data Trail

  1. Pick up any intel you can afford for this mission, then head out.
  2. Take out the G22 agent just ahead, then move forward, between the cones of sight of the two cameras.
  3. Go through the doorway at the end of the hall. Deactivate the cameras, using the panel on the wall. Then go back into the hallway, and bypass the keypad on the door on your left.
  4. Get on the elevator, and use it to ascend to the next level. Step out into the hallway. Drop the guard ahead on the left.
  5. Find the door on the right side of the hallway, and go through. Take out the guard in the room on the left.
  6. Take out the guard in the large room, visible through the window on the right, then go through the room on the left, and down the stairs.
  7. Place the first bug, on the large console ahead. Then make your way through the room, avoiding the cameras and taking down the guards.
  8. Go up the stairs at the end of the room, and turn left. Watch out for more guards and cameras on the catwalk. Go through the doorway up ahead.
  9. Take out the guard on the right. then bug the second server, on the left-hand wall.
  10. Go through the doorway on the left, and through the red-lit room beyond. Find another server in the next room. Drop the guard here, then move through the doorway on the other side of the room.
  11. Follow your marker through the small rooms and around to the stairs, taking out any enemies that get in your way.
  12. Go up the stairs, and through the door at the top, and turn right. Watch for guards on the rooftop. There are three or four on the roof itself, one up on the walkway behind you, and one on the turret in the parked helicopter ahead.
  13. Make your way across the rooftop, to the computer beneath the satellite dish. Hack the computer.
  14. Watch out for a guard to come through the door behind you and to your right. Take him out, then go through the open door, and down the ladder on the other side.
  15. At the bottom, turn left, and head down the hallway. there's an alarm panel on the left here.
  16. Go through the door at the end of the hallway. Watch out for guards in the large room on your right. there's one up on the catwalk on your level, and several on the floor below. there are also cameras here.
  17. Follow the walkway all the way around to the ladder, and climb down. Make your way across the room, fighting, sneak-killing or avoiding the guards, as you see fit.
  18. Go through the doorway at the end of the room. Hit the button on the far wall to open the warehouse doors. There's also an alarm panel in here, should you need it.
  19. Go through the newly opened warehouse door on the left. Watch for more guards outside.
  20. Make your way along the loading platform, to the right. Watch for a guard to come through the door on the wall on your right.
  21. Go down the steps at the end of the platform, and sneak or fight your way to the gate in the fence, up ahead and to the left. There's a lock you can pick on the back of the trailer on the right.
  22. Bypass the keypad on the left, and go through the gate and down the street to escape the warehouse.
  23. Back in the safehouse, talk to Mina on the video screen.

Contact Steven Heck

  1. Purchase the expanded dossier intel on Steven Heck from the clearinghouse if you can afford it. Then head out to meet him.
  2. Talk to the strange American agent known as Steven Heck. You can get on his good side by offering to help him with his current project.
  3. Heck isn't as button-down as many of your other contacts; he doesn't demand a completely businesslike demeanor, although he's not especially fond of jokes either, except maybe his own.
  4. For a spy, Heck isn't particularly good at sniffing out bullshit. He can be lied to, and it's to your advantage to do so. Telling a few tall tales about your shadowy past will get you in good with him.

Retrieve NSB Data from Grand Hotel

  1. There are several pieces of intel available for this mission. Purchase the ones that appeal to you, then launch the mission.
  2. Talk to Scarlet on the video screen in the safehouse, then hit the road.
  3. In your room at the Grand Hotel, talk to your allies on the video screen. Make your feelings on the subject of collateral damage clear to Heck. Try to keep both Scarlet and Mina happy at the same time, while each can hear everything you say to the other; this is as easy as it sounds.
  4. When your agents are in place, search the room for items; there should be some ammo in the bathroom.
  5. Head out into the hall. Turn right, and go down to the elevator. Take it up to the next floor.
  6. Move stealthily down the hallway to the left. Take out the guard up ahead--nonlethally if possible--then go into the room straight ahead. Avoid the security cameras here.
  7. Hack the computer to get access to the conference map. In the room to your right is a lock you can pick, which will get you a briefcase.
  8. Go into the security room across the hall. Hack the computer there to shut down the security cameras. There's also an alarm panel in here if you need it, and another lock you can pick to gain access to another briefcase.
  9. Follow your marker down the hallway to the right. Open the door at the end of the hall, and turn left.
  10. Climb the stairs up to the penthouse floor. Talk to Scarlet on the way. Open the door to the penthouse floor to meet up with Scarlet, and talk to her briefly.
  11. Move forward. Take out the guards up ahead; remember, killing them is frowned on.
  12. Check the bar on the right side of the room for some cash. There's also a first aid kit on the wall, and an alarm box a bit further on.
  13. Turn right, and go up the stairs. Drop two more guards on the walkway. Then head down the right-hand side of the walkway.
  14. Go through the door at the end of the walkway. Take out the guard in the next room, then search the suite. Pick up the Halbech employee's badge. you can also hack his computer, and crack his safe, if you want.
  15. Retrace your steps back downstairs, avoiding or taking out the guards in your path along the way. Get into the elevator on the right side of the room, and activate it.
  16. Get off the elevator, turn left, and head u[p the hallway. Look through the doorway at the end of the hall to find the conference. Take out the participants, then hack the computer on the table to gather intel.
  17. Once you'vehacked the computer, you can choose to either erase Heck's file or leave it intact. If you erase it, you'll have to fight your way out of the hotel; if not, you'll have the opportunity to sneak out.
  18. Follow your marker to the big room. Make your way past the guards, toward the doors, only to find them locked.
  19. Go around to the left side of the room. Behind the reception desk, find a door, and go through. Follow your marker through the series of small rooms, avoiding security cameras.
  20. Get to the elevator, and activate it to escape. Back in the safehouse, talk to Heck.

Intercept Assassination Plans

  1. Talk to the increasingly unstable Heck before heading to the subway station.
  2. Speak briefly to Omen Deng. The best you can hope for from this interaction is to get locked in a closet.
  3. When you get control, talk to Mina about the situation. Look for the hole in the floor. Drop down through it before the enemies arrive.
  4. Follow the tunnel ahead. At the end of it, climb the ladder. Look out for enemies as soon as you get to the next level. There's one to the left, and another to the right.
  5. Go down the tunnel to the right. At the end, open the door on the left, and go up the stairs. Open the door at the top of the stairs.
  6. Watch out for the guards in the next room. There's one on the same level as you, and more up on the catwalks above.
  7. Take out the guard on your level, then follow the room around to the ladder. Climb up, and make your way along the catwalk, taking out any guards in your path.
  8. Make your way around to another ladder, and climb it. There may be another guard on the next level.
  9. Move around the room at the top, and go through the door at the end of it. There's a first aid box on the wall just on the other side.
  10. Follow the tunnel to a doorway; watch out for a guard just on the other side. Take him out, then turn right, and move along the catwalk. Watch for another guard up ahead.
  11. Climb down the ladder at the end of the catwalk. Open the door below. Move down the tunnel to another door, and go through.
  12. Make your way down to the second level of the large room, killing guards as you go. There are stairs, and also drop-down points and a zip-line; take whatever route seems best to you. There are plenty of guards here; be ready for more to appear should you be spotted. There's an alarm panel in the far right-hand corner of the ground floor of the room if you need it.
  13. Go through the doorway, and up the stairs, indicated by your marker. Go through the door at the top.
  14. Drop down off the subway platform, and head up the stairs across the tracks. Go through the door on the left up ahead.
  15. Watch out for a camera just inside the next area, and more ahead. There are also civilian guards in here; don't kill them if you can help it.
  16. Make your way around the room, and up the stairs at the far end. Go around the right side of the little shack, and in through the door on your left. Search the room for items, and hack the computer to open the gates.
  17. Check out the room at the bottom of the stairs here for a safe. Then go out through the door. There's an alarm panel just ahead if you need it.
  18. Make your way through the room, avoiding the cameras and taking out the guards as necessary. Go down the stairs at the far end of the room.
  19. After the cutscene, take down the enemies in the area. Some are legitimate targets, some are civilian police; make sure you use the appropriate tactics for each.
  20. Bypass the keypad on the door at the end of the room, and go through. Go down the stairs. Look for a first aid box on the wall on the first landing.
  21. At the bottom of the stairs, go through the doorway. Battle the enemies on the tracks, and the platform on the left. They're all legitimate enemies, so take them down lethally.
  22. Run down to the end of the platform. When the target jumps down onto the tracks, drop down after him, and follow him along the tracks.
  23. After the brief cutscene, eliminate the target before the counter reaches zero, and the train arrives. He's not tough, but he has pretty good weapons; take him down as efficiently as possible.
  24. Grab the stuff the guy drops if you have time. Then switch the tracks, via the switch on the left of your fallen enemy, to divert the train just in time.
  25. Talk to Mina after the mission. Be ready to make a decision at the end of the conversation. Next, chat with Leland again.

Contact President Sung

Here you'll meet with Taiwanese president Sung, and try to dissuade him from making the public appearance at which he's been slated for assassination. Present Sung with whatever evidence you have. After meeting with Sung, you'll talk to Scarlet again.

Stop Omen Deng at Memorial Rally

  1. Pick up the available intel for this mission from the clearinghouse, then head out.
  2. Take out the first guard, patrolling just ahead, then move forward, through the archway and into the park.
  3. Turn left, and down the guard in the gazebo. then hack the computer to disable the explosives on the bridge.
  4. Take out the two guards up ahead on the left, then go across the bridge. Watch out for a guard to come out of the structure on the right; take him out, then his buddy.
  5. Go into the structure if you want to crack a safe, or if you need health. Then go back outside, and head up the path, toward the garden. there's an alarm panel on the left just ahead.
  6. Follow the path to the end. In the large area beyond, take down the guards, and move forward. Check the gazebo on the left for cash and ammo, then go into the temple on the right. Take down any guards inside, then check the temple for items.
  7. When the alarm sounds, go to the doors on the other side of the temple. Use the turret there to take out the enemy soldiers on the ground below. Watch out for friendlies.
  8. Be ready for more enemies to enter the area from the path on the right. Wipe them all out, then exit the turret.
  9. Turn left, and use the zip-line there to reach the lower area ahead. Kill the enemies there, and hold your fire when your allies come in through the door on the right.
  10. Hack the computer on the right. There's an alarm box on the left. Then go through the door on the left-hand wall.
  11. Move down the path to the next door. When the fireworks start going off, go through the door. Take out the guards in the next area; the fireworks will drown out gunfire and footsteps.
  12. Follow the path around through the garden. Take out the guards, and avoid the cameras. Look in the first house you come to for some cash. There's a lock you can pick on the next. Further ahead is an alarm panel, in case you run into any trouble.
  13. Cut through the next house, on your left. Find some cash inside, then go through the door on the right.
  14. Follow the path down to the last house, and go inside. Look for a first aid box on the wall ahead.
  15. Go through the first floor of the house, and up the stairs in the far left corner. Take out the guy on the second floor; he should be facing away, watching the fireworks.
  16. When the battle begins in the garden below, join in. Take out the enemy soldiers, and make sure you don't hit your allies. Take out the two turrets by the gates across the garden.
  17. Drop down from the ledge just ahead. Finish off any remaining enemies. Then search the two rooms to either side of the gates. In the one on the left is an alarm panel. In the one on the right is health. In both is money.
  18. Go through the gates, and follow the path to the left. Open the next set of gates and go through to exit the gardens.
  19. In the next area, move up the path as it curves around. Up ahead, battle Omen Deng and his goons.
  20. Quickly drop the goons, then run up the stairs. Turn right, and go through the small door. Follow the short hallway forward, and go through another door to enter Memorial Hall.
  21. Turn right, and take out the two guards stationed there. Then turn left, and find the ladder on the scaffolding there. Climb it.
  22. Watch for more guards up on the scaffolding. take them down. There's one on the scaffolding on the other side of the room, too.
  23. Leap over the gap, then move forward. Turn left, and go up the ramp. Shoot it out with the enemies across the room.
  24. Run to the right, and use the zip-line at the end of the platform to reach the scaffolding on the other side.
  25. Follow the scaffolding around. Watch out for more enemies ahead. Take them out, then go up the ramp.
  26. At the top of the ramp, turn right, and leap over the gap. then follow the scaffolding all the way around to a ladder, and climb it.
  27. Fight more guards on the next level. There are some across the room as well. Take them all out as you move along the walkway on the right.
  28. Turn left to go back out onto the scaffolding. Follow it along to the right, and use the zip-line at the end to reach the far side again.
  29. Move forward, and drop down a level. Repeat the process to reach the floor. Once there, move through the door up ahead. Look for first aid a bit further on.
  30. Follow the hallway around to the left. Look for the door on the right. Open it.
  31. After the very brief cutscene, battle Deng on the rooftop. You can hide at first, and get the drop on him. He's a quick, aggressive foe, with a regenerating shield. Try to keep him at a distance, and peg away with a good gun.
  32. Lay some mines for Deng if you get the chance. He encroaches on your space often, and you can use this aggression against him.
  33. When you've defeated Deng, you'll get the opportunity to talk to him. Don't execute him right away, unless you really don't care what's going on. Use your information to your advantage.
  34. Back in the safehouse, check out the aftermath of the Memorial Hall mission on TV. Talk to Heck halfway through the news. Next, talk to Leland again to wrap up the Taiwan operation.
  35. Following your escape from Taipei, you'll find yourself in another Alpha Protocol safehouse, alongside your longtime handler Mina. Interact with Mina.

United States: Operation Endgame

Finally, it's time to take the fight to Alpha Protocol, the agency that recruited then betrayed you. Check out the safehouse, at an undisclosed location in the area. Check your emails; you'll want to marshal whatever allies you have for the final battle. Use your first few missions here to make contact with your various friends and comrades.

Contact Scarlet Lake

If you're on Scarlet's good side--she really doesn't have a bad one--she'll invite you to a meeting...at her place. The topics of discussion are both business and personal matters; the proportion of each is up to you. At the end of the conversations, you'll be faced with one of the easier choices in the game.

Contact Sheikh Ali Shaheed

If Shaheed is still among the living, he'll offer to meet with you so that he can fulfill his promise and deliver evidence of Halbech's misdeeds in Saudi Arabia. Here you'll again be given the chance to execute Shaheed; be aware that if you do, you'll lose out on the information you came for. Deal with Shaheed on his terms, and take responsibility for your unwitting role in the Halbech conspiracy.

Infiltrate Alpha Protocol

  1. Before launching this mission, make sure you've done everything else you can. Check your emails, and buy any weapons, upgrades, and gadgets you think you may need. Make sure you're fully stocked with ammo.
  2. After launching the mission, you'll be given your choice of handler, assuming you haven't completely alienated everyone you've met. Choose whoever you'd like, and proceed with the mission.
  3. Turn yourself in to Darcy, then prepare for the next phase of the operation.
  4. Having finally caught up with the recurring flash-forwards, conclude your long conversation with Leland. You'll get the chance to let out some pent-up frustration if you'd like.
  5. Out in the hallway, talk to Conrad Marburg again. Get some things off your chest.
  6. After the cutscene, when you have control, grab your gear. It's in the duffel bag on the counter nearby.
  7. Move to the left, and get ready for some guards to come down the hallway up ahead. Take them out, then proceed, cautiously, forward.
  8. Watch out for the turret high up on the wall in the hallway up ahead. Avoid it, and move down the hall to the left. there's an alarm shutdown panel on the wall just to the left of the turret, in case you get spotted.
  9. Get in the elevator at the end of the hallway, and use it. As soon as the elevator doors open, be ready for a guard to come walking into the room from the left up ahead.
  10. Go through the door on the right, and drop the guard in the next room. You can do this through the window to the right of the door, if you wish.
  11. Look for a safe, and an alarm panel, on the wall on the left. There's a first aid box on the right-hand wall.
  12. Search the room for items, then approach the computer console straight ahead. Access the Alpha Protocol network. Be ready to decide what you want to do with your very small window of access; you can either get some data, or contact agent Parker, who you met in espionage orientation, early in the game.
  13. If you choose to contact Parker, talk to him on the video screens. Find out what's been going on between Alpha Protocol and Halbech, and respond to the information in your own chosen way.
  14. After the conversation, fight the guards that show up outside the room. Use the alarm panel on the wall near the door. Then head out of the room, down the hall, and through the door.
  15. Watch out for another guard here. There's also a turret on the wall to your left, and another alarm panel on the wall.
  16. Move through the door beneath the turret. In the next area, run along the walkway, leaping over the gaps, and taking out the enemies down below when you have a clear shot.
  17. At the end of the walkway, climb down the ladder, and finish off any enemies remaining in the area. Watch out, there are a ton of guys here. There's also a manual turret, and an automated one, nearby.
  18. Make your way through the enemies, and up the stairs across the room. At the top, just to the left of the door, find an alarm shutdown panel.
  19. Go through the door, turn left, and go through another door. In the next area, look out for a camera up ahead, in the right-hand corner. There's an alarm panel on the wall on the right, but there's not much point to using it.
  20. Open the door at the end of the room, and fight the large group of enemies, and the turret, straight ahead.
  21. Go through the door on the right; watch out for more guards, and a camera. Go up the stairs, fighting any guards that appear. There's another camera at the top of the stairs.
  22. Turn left. Head through the door at the end of the room. There's an alarm panel on the wall just to the left of the door. Meet up with your handler in the next room.
  23. Turn left, and use the zip-line there to descend to the next area. There's a guard on the floor below, who you can take out before using the zip-line. There's another on a platform on the far left of the lower area; you may be able to just get a shot in by going all the way to the right, and looking to the left. If you can, make the most of the opportunity.
  24. There are two hackable computers in the area below. They're tough hacks, and each contains some money, and some dossier information.
  25. Go up the stairs on the left of the area, and through the door at the top. Look for a few gadgets scattered around the next room, and some health, next to the door on the left.
  26. Go through the door, turn right, and move forward. After the cutscene, battle the large group of guards in the big room below. There's a staircase on the left, by which you can reach the floor. Be ready for another group of guards to descend from the hole in the wall on the far side of the room.
  27. Defeat everyone in the room, and make your way across the floor to the door in the far right corner. You won't be able to go through until everyone in the room is wiped out, but you'll want to be close, so you can get through as soon as possible.
  28. Enemies will keep dropping down from the hole in the wall. Keep taking them out as they appear. Grenades and incendiary bombs work reasonably well on the mostly tightly packed groups of enemies.
  29. Go through the door as soon as you can. There's an alarm panel on the wall just inside.
  30. Look for the computer terminal on the left, and use it to retrieve the data you're after. No hack is required for this; just press A.
  31. Go through the door on the right side of the room. Then turn left, and follow the hallway forward. Cross the bridge, and continue on.
  32. In the next room, turn left, and open the gates of the elevator there. Get on, and activate the elevator.
  33. After the cutscene, make your way through the yard, taking out the guards in your path. Watch for the one in the guard tower on the left. Drop down from the ledge on the right, and follow the path around.
  34. In the next section of the yard, fight Darcy and his goons. Eliminate the weaker guys first, so you're not taking fire from too many directions at once.
  35. Avoid the bundles of grenades Darcy throws. Get clear of them as fast as you can. Also, stay away from the trucks as much as possible; they'll explode without much persuading.
  36. Look for a first aid box on the wall of the small hut in the far right corner. Darcy is in the tower above. Wait for him to stick his head up, and hit him as hard as you can. His shield regenerates, so get as many shots in as you can while it's down. Once again, Chain Shot comes in handy here. If you can hit him with six clean shots in the head, it should take him down, shield and all, in one volley.
  37. Once Darcy is down, head down the path just beyond the tower. In the next area, battle another group of guards; you can get the jump on them if you're sneaky.
  38. Make your way down the path on the right, and take out any remaining enemies in the area below. Watch out for the helicopter, hovering in the air ahead.
  39. You can also jump across, from the ledge on the higher ground. On the platform beyond is a rocket launcher. You can drop down from the platform.
  40. Move down the path; stay as far from the trucks as possible as you go. Climb the stairs at the end of the path, and take out more enemies in the next area.
  41. Get into one of the bunkers in this area. Grab the rocket launchers there, and use them on the helicopter. Look for a first aid kit on the far outside wall of the bunker on the right side of the area, and another on the near outside wall of the bunker at the far end.
  42. When you've eliminated the helicopter, drop down from the ledge to the right of the far bunker. Move across to the stairs, and climb them.
  43. Kill the guard at the top of the stairs, and continue straight ahead, and up another flight of stairs. Drop down from the walkway just ahead.
  44. Just ahead is an area filled with turrets and guards. There's a turret in the tower ahead, and more on the ground around the corner. Climb the path on the right, and look down. Take out as many of the turrets and guards as you can from here.
  45. Go back down the path, and up into the tower. Destroy the turret there, and any remaining below. There's an alarm panel up here. Climb back down, and move forward.
  46. Go down the tunnel at the far end of the area. Get in the elevator there, and activate it. Get off the elevator, and move forward.
  47. After the cutscene, battle one of your enemies. First, eliminate his goons. Then deal with the man himself.
  48. Your enemy is up in the tower, armed with either a turret or a rocket launcher; you'll have to aim carefully in order to hit him from below. Chain Shot is once again the best weapon here; a few fully loaded volleys will wrap things up.
  49. After the battle, you may get the chance to talk to--and eliminate--another one of your foes. Or you may just sail off into the sunset. Either way, the game is over.
