• Alone in the Dark, also known as Alone in the Dark 5, will be released June 24 for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and computers with Windows. It will be released later in the year for the PlayStation 3. Following a conference call in April to talk about the company's earnings, developers for Hydravision Entertainment told reporters it had to delay the game a month from its May release because of a need to finalize minor details in the game.

• Original Version

  Alone in the Dark was originally released in 1992 for the PC and the 3DO systems, developed by Infogrames. It was one of the first survival horror games released, along with Capcom's Sweet Home. The 2008 version of the game is a remake of the original with updated graphics.
